How many photoshoot and interviews about their relationship has there been? They choose to put their relationship in the media when they left the house. I'm glad they did because i get to read about it.
I don't think doing another exclusive about the breakup would be milking it as long as things ended okay. If i were their management teams it would be the obvious move.
As a devoted Chan fan i'd be very interested to read why it happened.....if it ever happens.
Shallow? Erm No. We're Chan and Zig shallow for giving an interview to the DS about getting back together? Erm No.
Once again i think Chan is mazin and i like Zig and i hope they are still together. I don't believe there's anything wrong in what i said. But maybe thats shallow old me.”
Giving interviews as the public figures they undoubtedly are is not the issue.
It's the mercenary tone of your comments that is objectionable.
You implied by agreeing with
Ophelia's post

that they would keep a false front up for purely monetary gain.
If they gave a "break-up" interview without receiving payment, would that change things for you ?
Or would doing something like that never even cross
your mind ?
Basically if (God forbid), Chanelle & Ziggy were to break up, yes, they'd probably do an interview, and be paid for same.
But, crucially, your posts imply they'd be figuratively and literally sitting there rubbing their hands together with glee, counting their interview money, "hands fumbling in the greasy till" as Yeats put it.
As Chanelle might say "I DON'T THINK SO !"
They'd be really upset, and any piddling fee for the interview would be the last thing on their minds, especially Chanelle.
Things never end "okay", at least initially, it's just degrees of bad.
Running throughout your posts tonight is a "they're doing it for the money primarily" theme, or "they're a real couple but they're ruthless in exploiting their romance for money" theme.
I believe neither to be true.
We like them, we want to read about them, & help them if possible like
Nicki_r_p's rebuttal of the Billi Liar story.
Public interest in their romance does not transform it into a commodity nor does it mean they consider it as such either.
