Good point, Cathy. I am sure Chanelle appreciates the opportunites that she has been offered since BB8. The reason I think that is because she is so determined to work flat out and make the most of these chances. Her schedule is exhausting, and she never misses an opportunity to fit something else in.
She gives her all to every project, too. Even at low-key events like calendar signings, she is trying her best to give her full attention to each person and make a good impression. When she is feeling sick, as she was at the perfume launch, you would never be able to tell because she just soldiers on to the best of her ability.
I think many graduates of the BB house sort of let their hair down, go to parties, do a few PAs, and relax. Not that there's anything wrong with just taking it easy and enjoying life!
In contrast, I think Chanelle has a lot of drive, and this inner motivation is compelling her to make the most of her time in the public eye for however long it lasts. You can tell she is a perfectionist as far as fashion, grooming, and makeup, and I would wager she spends an hour or two in the gym daily on top of all her other commitments, trying to stay toned and in top condition.
It makes me tired just thinking about it. But I believe whatever success she has is down to 1) luck, the incredible opportunity she was offered to participate in Big Brother, and 2) her own drive to make something of herself and give her best at all times.
