I went for an audition for the VH1 show ‘Wannabe’ Friday 19th October 07 in London, the actual audition was a right laugh. I managed to be just a bit too scary. The judges were very afraid, poor Channel even got scared when I looked at her singing “I can’t get you out of my head” (with acoustic guitar). I think she thought I wanted to bed her or some thing she clasped her hands to her mouth & screamed. Maybe my performance of ‘Van Halen's’ ‘Mean Street’ as I walked in was a bit too macho for them.
I did manage to plug my band ‘Lost in Space’ & even got a chance to perform some skull rock to the camera. And I met some really nice women there it would be nice to see them girls do well. I also had a couple of interviews with journalists; it was well worth going for.
It was good to meet Bill & the rest of the team working hard on this crazy wannabe project thanks to them for the opportunity I really had a good time and can’t wait to see the program. I could be on the first show as a reject, so look out for me DebEspace 23/11/07 on Wannabe VH1.

Who is involved? The judges at my audition were: Roseanne McBride; A record Company Executive - once head of Pop UK at Jive records she looked after names such as Britney Spears and N-Sync. The second judge was vocal coach to the stars David Laudat. And third judge was the ‘Ultimate Wannabe’ Chanelle Hayes from Big Brother 8 who has made a career from dressing and looking like ‘Posh Spice’ Victoria Beckham. The forth judge was Toby Anstis; he is a radio presenter at London's Heart 106.2. He presents his morning show weekdays from 9am-1pm, starting off with the Time Tunnel.

That was the strange one with the guitar and blonde hair, she was scary poor Chanelle didnt know what to do.

I have been watching a bit of x factor, the weekends are quiet on here the nearer we get to xmas all that shopping and partying i suppose.

I suppose that's it, although I never had a Xmas party on weekend I don't think. I like Chan's new song - more upbeat than for a while. Nuts was so funny - no awkward questions faze her at all.

I think she is so back to her old upbeat self the mood icons and the music are very positive at last,

Chanelle can start to really enjoy her life as she should of been for the last few months and that is a great thing to see.

I've really enjoyed appreciating her for the last month, and hopefully more can from now on as there's so much to look forward to. That sort of stuff in DS today is only good for fire-lighting, and if they think that's gonna bother her then they must have a memory-blank for the last couple of months.

It has been a rollercoaster for her this last six months,

To think she went in a student doing A levels looking to go to Uni what a complete turn around in her life, despite all that has happened Chanelle is the same unassuming girl who went in,

She expects nothing but naturally hopes for the best there a not many who would not of let this go to their heads but not Chanelle,
She still treats everyone with dignity and doesnt bad mouth anyone to push her career forward she is a real credit to her parents as we have said many times.

I wonder why,

She really is stunning those eyes are captivating and they look even better in real life gorgeous.

Here Chanelle is mentioned on a foreign site, looks Finnish but i am not an expert on languages.

Yes, that's Finnish - MTV3 Finland it seems. We should geta few ore international apreciators on - sa Australia, and maybe India where she's providing employment with her perfume.

I have finally got around to pimping my Myspace profile it's a bit of a struggle when i have not done it before,

If Chanelle toodles in it will look a bit more homely.

I wish I could get myself out of this limbo I'm in, so I could see her site properly, but all the important info is posted anyhow. She needs a few more friends, doesn't she - only 20,000.

Havnt you got a Myspace then?, you should it is not that hard just set up the basic one, i have also got Jade and Lisa her pals as my friends, Give it ago it will get Chanelle that bit nearer 20,000.

I did do, and got into her site once if I recall, but then it wouldn't accept my password, even when I got a new one from myspace. Can't scrap it and start again either, as it says e-mail already in use. So kinda stuck really.

In google you can create another e-mail account just type in Google e-mail and you can set it up in five minutes then register with that,

i have upteen Google accounts they come in handy sometimes, if you want me to do it i can PM you the password etc then you can change it later.

Chan carried herself well on Nuts TV. I did watch Samanda on there too and as much as I like those girls Chan was so much better. Liam and Bri were good too but Chan did well considering some of the questions fielded to her

That guy that did the interview on the couch got him self well and trully flustered in her presene...so funny!!

Hi Julia, Chanelle has a wicked sense of humour she is quite happy to laugh at herself and is not stuck up in any way,

I am glad to see she has moved on from her past and is looking to the future with a great deal of work under her belt and a lot more to come,

These are exciting times for her fans there is so much to appreciate with all the projects in the pipeline, i cant wait to find out whats next.
