A lot of courses in London are set up for people who also work ... quite apart from the OU which you can do in your own time and with a minimum of tutorials.

Mylene Klass is currently doing a degree in astro physics and she is defo a very busy lady - but Chanelle is equally hard working and is intending to do a degree in a subject that she really loves so i'm sure that she would be able to do her degree and continue with most of her existing work. As she is now more established it should be much easier for Chanelle's diary to be planned further ahead and that would simplify fitting in her studies.

No poor girl about it millsyb ... it will be great fun lots of new people to meet, TV crews to get to know and I bet by now she has enjoyed being with the girl group. Making TV is tiring but fun ... long days and a lot of junk food but I bet Chanelle is loving every moment of it.

I agree with that. So much depends on what she has lined up already, and what else might come along in a few months' time. If she gets the A-levels, at 20 she has loads of time to do further study if she is too busy next year. I worked full-time and studied full-time for four years and got the exams, and I wasn't the best studier, so it can be done ... and she's very bright and has a good memory.

Well it's been a fab Chan week, nothing new there then I see she is still busy and getting on with her life and career. I will miss Wannabe tonight but I will be catching up with it as soon as I can I love her on that show she is just so natural and funny. Know what they mean now when they say the cameras love certain people, and Chan is defo one of those certain people

Saw the wee pic of her in DS yesterday and she looked fab and I wasn't surprised to see that all the guys were drooling over her

You know something guys Chan is actually looking even better ((I know not possible eh )) in recent weeks and it seems to have coincided with losing all that old baggage she was carrying. She looks happier, dressing more her age ((young and sassy)), is getting out and about with her mates and seems much more her old self.

I agree it would be good if Chanelle could sit her A levels this year - although finding the time may be a bit tricky with her current workload.

If it is possible to extend the learning period for Uni courses - it would be something to consider. I do wonder though whether it is possible to fit TV work or record promotion work around university TBH.

I wondered if there are any options for studying at home like Open University for example. This way she would be able to fit her studies around other work commitments.

Another option of course is to defer University for a few years and just enjoy the opportunities which comes her way.

I suspect there will be a lot of potential work offers in 2008 therefore making these decisions will be difficult for Chanelle but at the end of the day only she knows what will make her happiest. That is all I really want for her TBH.

I did my degree at home, with only an occasional seminar, and working full-time, so she could do it, but she might prefer to actually attend uni. It's good to have such problems of having so much to choose from, and not to have to worry about money anymore.

I bet she doesn't know which way to turn sometimes. It is a very different life and now she seems to be moving forward again - I reckon she will be loving it.

I doubt she is poor though - unless she's gone overboard with the Christmas shopping. I reckon she could afford to foot Santa's bill this Christmas.

I reallythink that Chanelle would want to share in the fun of university that would not be available through OU.
However, Uni allows fairly long vacations and there is usually at least one day each week of minimal or no lectures. Add to that, because of the subjects that Chanelle wants to study there is likely to be quite a bias towards reading etc probably with lectures being of lesser importance than in some other subjects. Chanelle has an excellent memory and learns very quickly as we saw on Celeb SHnds and is an avid reader so I'd be very surprised if she found the studies unduly difficult. In addition as we have seen she thrives on hard work. Remember most students need to work while they study so with a little forward planning I'm sure Chanelle would cope more easilly than many students.
