Had to laugh a moment ago when the Brit Awards programme started on TV .... they gave a warning that the programme might contain 'flashing images' ......I couldn't help wondering who might be 'flashing'!

I really dont know why the media has to make such a negative out of this comment. Why should she not aspire to be the next Lorraine Kelly. I am sure LK is very flattered that a new fledgling TV presenter aspires to be as good as she is. Singers, musicians, politicians etc. aspire to be as good as their chosen icon. I would have thought a bit of ambition was extremely healthy. Remember the job interviews that always ask "where would you like to see yourself in the next 5 years". These journalists are living behind the times.

It's obvious that Chan's agent sends a press release to the editors of the mags and papers, and then the editors kick it around until they find a way to make a snide dig, thereby preserving their self-respect while managing to include all the important date, time, and channel information from the press release.

It may well be....but just because she chose to go on Big Brother does not make her devoid of the ability to do a good job. I wonder if her name didnt keep being mentioned by others associated with BB she would be able to distance herself a bit more. I really hope she makes such a good job of this presenting that she "shuts them up" big style.

Think its just the British tabloids they cont say a half decent thing about anyone whos up and coming without adding something negitive

Its a shame Chanelle had to endure BB to get her so obvious talents showcased but at least she is getting the breaks she deserves and she will only go on to better things in the future.

Yes but shes a strong girl and can turn negatives into positives without getting to the gutter level to do it.
Shes gone through more downs than ups recently and has risen above them!
Shes a special young lady with an amazing inner strength she has.
Its paying off for her and us... 4 weeks of Chan tv and who knows whats next?!

I have no doubts she will Dia. and I suppose she has to pay some price for trying to find a way to showcase her talents. Reality TV contestants get very little credit for anything they do these days even if they are very talented. It seems to take them a long time to shake off the "label". I am sure they will still be calling her the "ex BB contestant" in 5 years time when she is presenting a programme on mainstream TV 5 days a week. Still it has opened doors for her and she is getting opportunities so there are some positives from the difficult experience. Onwards and Upwards

Chanelle has paid the price but despite that as won through with a great deal of dignity which I am sure hasnt gone unnoticed,
She has been extremly proffesional every time she has appeared on TV look at the way Eamonn Holmes was enamoured by her charm as is OJ Borg, I am convinced that she is being watched by execs from various channels as she is quite unique and highly talented,
It is possible that I am slightly biased in my view but I dont think so.
