its great that a year and a half on Chanelle is still so special to everyone.

Solo UK female artists who've had success in the US are pretty few and far between, and in recent times probably came mostly from the X-Factor type show. Might have to go right back to someone like Lulu for a comparison, although I'm not sure how much success she had over there.

Chanelle's calendar still isn't in the actual sales charts on play.com, as it's not available til the 20th ... but she's no. 2 in the pre-order charts (behind only Hannah Montana, whose calendar is available from today ... so Chanelle should move up to no. 1).

BTW, Hannah Montana is a fictional character from a US TV series.

I also noticed that 10 of the 13 calendars still to be released are glamour calendars, so there seems to be a common marketing strategy going on.

It looks like the pre-order sales may not be included in a lot of the sales figures then.

I got my Calendars last month sent on the 16th, I pre-ordered in May.

It looks like the Manufactures send all the pre-orders out first well before it goes on general sale then.

But the sales charts would only be from the individual places that are selling the Calendar and only the Manufacturer would know what the actual sales figures are, if you know what I mean.

I just bought my Chanelle 2009 calendar down at the local shopping centre where somebody has set up a temporary Calendar Club franchise.

There were lots of dog calendars and I did make a particular point to look out for a tractor calendar for myk. However, they didn't have any. Maybe there's not as much call for them in London.

I'm off to Cardif next week to get mine and hopefully some mwah youngest found mine my small village doesnt sell either and im useless buying over the net

I was glad to see Brian and Gerry at Chanelle's 21st birthday celebrations in London and it was nice to see they're still firm friends with her.

They were my two favourite male housemates from BB8 and I liked the friendship they shared in the house with her.

While Gerry gave her much support, I think Brian was the one who most appreciated and shared her sense of humour. A sense of humour that many live feed viewers got to enjoy, but sadly didn't seem to be on the agenda when it came to the edit for the HLs show. Anyway it looks like they all shared a few laughs the other night.

Just had to pop in and say I am glad to see that Chanelle had a fab birthday....21! Oh yes I remember it like it was yesterday

I totally loved the dress Chanelle wore, it was very sexy but oh so sophisticated as well befitting a 21 year old babe. For me her shoes were divine (what do you mean H*** dont agree, never I always agree with them ). They just dont get it do they, fun, gorgeous and sexy and that was just Chanelle's shoes

I am also pleased to read that it wasn't full of hangers on and people turning up with unkempt eyebrows just to get their face in a paper.....no we can safely say that Chanelle has risen well above that lot

I presume all the pre-orders will go out on the 20th - play.com don't have the calendar available until then. Most of the ones they have available from the 20th are glamour calendars, so it's not just Chanelle's that's released later on play.com.

No way of knowing what the total sales of Chanelle's calendar are, but all the indications seem to be good, and next week we should have it in the main play.com chart, and can see how it's doing with them compared with last year. As long as it sells out again - can't do much better than that

It's really very easy jp ... well, I have to buy it online, as I don't think it would be in the shops in Dublin (I could be wrong there though).

Fingers crossed she'll come to Dublin like last year and you can meet her

This probably is her first go the other side of the pond

Hi bblover i think Wales and Scotland are due a visit first I know my Welsh cat friend who is sadly not now on ds would love to see her

I ordered mine form Amazon a couple of weeks ago, and the delivery estimate is between the 24th November and the 10th December.
At least it should be here before New Year.
