I'm amazed to say that I am the guilty party who sent in the Misty question, and even more amazed that it was actually read out!!!!
I must say though, Dirk wasn't at all nasty about Cleo - in fact he was quite gallant! Maybe this was a mixture of things - slight time delay on his phone (clutching at straws here!); his slight hearing loss; his not realizing it was a little joke from me, and not a sincere request from Cleo?!?!?!? Whatever it was, as a result, I have unintentionally invoked a positive response from Dirk about Cleo!!!!!
Although he did say at one stage - "oh is this a joke?" YES DIRK, YES!!!!!!!
But still, I can't actually believe it was read out!

What was the significance of 'Play Misty for me'? Was it a Clint Eastwood film - I haven't seen that film for years. I also thought he said that if he'd have met Cleo out of the house, they would have got on OK.

I have been busy stripping ....... wallpaper stripping that is, for a mate & have just logged on for 20 mins to find out that I have missed the biggest Dirk event for days
There have been some great posts lately whichI have missed.....drat.....drat and some great word association games....double drat!!

She creates a character who is smoothly confident, if slightly vulnerable, and prone to instantaneous bursts of psychotic anger. I don't know the exact words but the one that got me was when he said something like 'my prostate wasn't famous enough but now my panties are" - a reference about trying to get his book republished plus the question about what he wore under his Starbuck trousers
