Hi again everyone!
Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome, from reading through this thread I didn't have much doubt that I would receive a warm welcome. My post will probably be a bit sporadic as I said earlier, you guys talk and type far too fast for me to keep up with. That and having a more than full time job doesn't really help either.....
I will try and post as much as I can when I feel that I have something useful to day (which probably won't be very often as all I tend to do is babble!)
In answer to an earlier question, I ordered a a copy of Ruckus on dvd from Loaded247 but after a week or two they mysteriously took it off of my order. I managed to find a VHS version of the film on Ebay.com and it was shipped from Canada last week by airmail so should be with me in the next week or so. With the $ not being very strong at the moment I only paid about £12 including postage which I didn't think was too bad. When the video gets here I shall let you know what it's like.
For all of those who haven't had the great pleasure and privillege to meet Dirk I would sincerely recommend attending some of the UK conventions that he does each year (I think he is supposed to be at Collectormania in Milton Keynes with Dwight Shultz this year) I went to see him at Milton Keynes a couple of years ago and spent about 15 minutes or so with him, he was determined to talk to everyone that came to see him even though the line of people waiting to meet him was getting longer by the second and his assistant kept telling him to hurry up! I was so overcome with silly schoolgirl nervousness that the first thing I blurted out was 'You were my favourite on the A Team, I always loved you the most!' which made him giggle and so he wrote on the picture that he was signing for me 'You're my favourite too!' and then he went on to chat about my name and such like for the next 10 minutes or so. We went back later in the day to see Dwight Schultz (who had turned up about 2 hours late!) who happened to be sitting next to Dirk and he recognised us from earlier, when I started telling Dwight what a big fan of the A Team I was when I was a kid Dirk piped up and jokingly said 'Let me guess, you're gonna say he's your favourite now?!' I was somewhat taken aback that he had remembered me from earlier on. He's such a sweet guy who loves talking to people (unlike some of the other 'celebs' that were there just to sign pictures and look sullen)
Anyways, enough babbling from me again, I shall be lurking in the background!
