I agree with you, the thing is they are building her up into some kind of flawless person. One of the things we love about Dirk is that he is a complex, flawed person. We accept these flaws as being part of who he is and embrace them as such. We don't expect him to be perfect. They are building themseleves up for a fall......

Well said Muttley . Her fans need to accept that she isn't perfect and she will be criticised a lot now in many of the papers because her popularity is growing. All celebrities are portrayed in negative light throughout their careers and Shilpa is no exception. I am sorry to say this but her fans are really starting to annoy me when they can't see or accept Shilpa's flaws or any bad articles written about.

Us Dirk fans accept that he has some views and opinions which we may not agree with but we accept it, live with it and move on. We all know he ain't perfect but that doesn't stop us loving him even more.

Fair enough point. I think because the whole Shilpa vs. the Coven think was so ridiculously overblown - we all know it was atrocious behaviour and Shilpa behaved very well, but to then act as if she is therefore above criticism for the rest of her existence is just plain ridiculous. People are entitled to not like her, just as you are about anyone. I personally liked her very much in the house, but I never expected her to be a saint, that's why I can brush aside her being ocassionally bitchy about Dirk because no one is perfect all of the time (although what is wrong with you woman!! How could you reject Dirk?!)

Even when Shilpa was in the BB house and I liked her, I found she had some failings and could see how she could easily irk people. I don't think that was the case with Jade and her clique, I think they would have picked on Shilpa and a few others like the men especially like Dirk, Leo, Ken and even Ian anyway regardless. It was in their natures to. Because of Stockcube gate, their picking on the others, especially on Dirk seems to have been forgotten

I said as much as I liked Shilpa even through CBB, that she was no angel. But noticed that some of us Dirk fans just got accused of trying to sway the vote when a few were up in the double eviction I just gave up trying to reason in some of those type threads.

I'm afraid to get any of these films as I'm frightened of letting my boyfriend know the extent of my obsession I can get away with the A-Team as he likes it too, but I would have the p*ss ripped out of me for weeks if I tried to watch the others. I don't have Sky so can't see Battlestar Galactica I have to enjoy them vicariously through here. So keep up with the pic posting everyone

My family take the mickey out of me for watching BSG. My dad sometimes watches it with me but my mum, brother and sister think i have gone mad. They say to me "when did you become a sci fi freak?".. i lie and say "i always was one"..well i kinda liked Star Wars .

BSG dvd arrived yesterday and the A Teams season 5 arrived on friday i have to make time now to watch them and i can't watch it tonight or tomorrow because i am around my b/f's and he can't stand BSG. Although he loves the A Team.
