I watched part of the first series of Dancing on Ice but refuse to watch it after the farce that was John Barrowmen going so early....what a disgrace!!!

I agree about John It is still talked about on the Ice Skating forum on here. He should never have gone. I think they wanted to pave the way for Bonnie last year and in order to do that, they had to vote John B out As it was Bonnie never made the top two after all that anyway I got a feeling you might love Kyran though

Exactly. And the thing that gets me was she didn't actually skate that well anyway from what i saw, it was all lifts and acrobatics.

Also, the viewers who let him land in the skate off in the first place want a good talking too....it's like what happened to David Gest in I'm A Celeb....voter complacency!

Wasn't he voted out after he did that great Amarillo routine? As I remember Bonnie spent most of her time being flung around and didn't actually have to skate much

John Barrowman David Gest and now Dirk All winners to me though

I can't remember the routine now, only that he was up against Stefan, who I never thought was that great or deserving of beating John anyway.

The thing that makes me laugh about David Gest not winning is that in 'coming out' all anyone wanted to ask the others in their interviews were questons about David Gest, who rather than running around taking part in the media scrum was out and about having fun and getting mobbed in the streets!!!

David Gest was totally blown away by all the attention bless him. He seemed to hide behind those glasses, he seemed quite shy in a lot of ways and unsure of himself. I believe 'I'm a Celebrity.....' did him some good and gave him a renewed belief and confidence in himself as I believe in time CBB5 will do for Dirk, when he realises how truely loved he is and how many more fans of all ages he has secured by his appearance in the CBB5 house.

It's not often a Celebrity comes out of these type shows looking good, but David and Dirk both have in my opinion

Yes, very true - and for someone like DG whom people had pre-judged so much before hand it is especially rare.

I think your right about giving them more confidence in the long run, too.....two great guys!

Susann, have you seen the sneak previews of Ben Mill's album on youtube...it sounds pretty good!

I am not a big Ben fan. I will have a peek though. But I will see if there are any clips anywhere else, as the sound on You Tube doesn't work for me at the moment

I know someone else who is a big Ben fan, so she will want to know about his album All I know is it's due for release around March time.

Yeah, it's out on 12th March...it will have a few of his own songs on it, which is a good start I think. He's natural style is a lot more towards soulful rock than a lot of the stuff he was given to do on the show (eg aerosmith and U2 ) so it's promising I think.

I'm more of a ray quinn fan. Did like watching Ben he's gonna be a great performer for many years to come.

That's good I really didn't like some of the stuff the acts got to perform on the show. It's only after the show that you can truely see what they are capable of, when they find their niche
