Dirky baby was the favourite to go after Jo that night wasn't he? I remember feeling that he had been stitched up with the two housemates going together cos most anti coven fans would just have voted Jo. It was a marvellous result - possibly the best ever.

Most bb fans do appear to love Dirk. It makes me suspicious that he got 16 percent of the vote though saying that I only voted twice in the final because I assumed it was given that the Shilpsmaestro would win. Maybe others felt the same.

I removed my beige baseball cap and threw it into the air. The cap belonged to my dad and I'd been wearing it all evening in an attempt to bring Dirk luck. I need help!

Dirk was intitally second favorite to go, but after the HL's show which featered Cleo threatening to stab him, her price crashed and his odds fell back.

I think the inital odds were due to a misjudgement by the bookies as to the generally high regaurd Dirk was held in and to how the events of the procedding weekend were viewed.

The rumour after the eviction is that Shilpa actually had a larger share of the votes than Dirk did and that he and Ian had a fairly small share of the votes.

Thats the way I saw it too Muttley. I was checking the bookies odds and by the day of the eviction Jo and Cleo were the favourites to go but until their names were called I couldn't relax just in case they were wrong. I voted once for Jo but more for Cleo to be on the safe side.

What is interesting is that a few people were saying that rather than voting Cleo we should be voting Shilpa, as Dirk's chances of winning would have been huge had Shilpa gone (because I suspect a good many Shilpa voters would have switched to Dirk). But of course I could never consider doing that a) because you don't put the cart before the horse, b) Shilpa deserved to be in the final and c) Cleo didn't.

Still, makes you wonder.....

It did. I think I'll take full credit for Dirk staying in that night. Forget multiple voting and don a cap!

I have just ordered that german film for simple perverted reasons. I won't be able to understand a bloody word of it. I just wanted to get that out of my system as I sure as hell will not be telling anybody else (hope boyfriend will not be in when it arrives).
