On a more serious note, I feel that the cream fleece really is being overlooked - even by Dirk . It has appeared in some very beautiful moments. It supported Dirk when he couragiously asked for Shilpa's phone number and when he, in a rare yet emotional moment, admitted that that the lonliest place was indeed within a crowd. So much passion and wisdom. Yet, I'm not sure I ever saw it again?”

That cream fleece did have some great moments I agree. It probably got dirty and thats why Dirk never wore it again? I don't remember seeing Dirk do any washing of his clothes while he was there. Mind you he must have washed at least his underwear as he couldn't have had enough for all the time he was in there Unless he didn't wear any Does anyone else remember seeing him do any washing?

Yes, Muttley, as always, I know you're right, but it still tugs at the heartstrings, doesn't it?

Right the film - if you like planes this is a film you might like. If you like Dirk (does anyone here) he is in about 90% of the film. If you like a film with a good story that isnt trying to hard to be a little bit like Top Gun this may not be the film for you.

Really the bottom line is that the film is pretty crap - not even Dirk in lots of gorgeous uniform could save it.......but Dirk is in uniform a lot so I'd watch it again

Not that I am shallow y'know

Films with a good story are so over-rated!!!

At least if they feature Dirk, anyway.....so back to Dirk in a uniform.......

Butting in again, ladies...

"War of the Gods", episodes one and two - more two than one. Don't hold your breath! There's more to be seen of Dirk in his Triad outfit in the outtakes than can be viewed in the finished episodes. (How very exasperating!) I shall now return to view all the lovely deleted scenes - which feature Dirk very heavily, albeit it lightly attired!

After downloading one and half day's worth of THE interview, Telewest persist in cutting my internet connection, despite my having unlimited access, supposedly. I'm finding it impossible to keep up. I'm really missing out here!!
