I haven't even had a chance to open my boxed set of the first three series. I wish I could just sit down and indulge myself but there's always something getting in the way. Once Battlestar has finished airing I'm going to try to watch one episode per day.

It's time we bombarded the Beeb with requests for Dirk to appear on some good talk shows. We need him back before everyone forgets what a terrific character he is.

Good idea They only give you a chance to vote a celebrity off Celebdaq when that Celebrity is not newsworthy anymore. Looks like Cleo's fifteen minutes only did five

Dirk won't be newsworthy as he has returned to Montana and out of the tabloids and TV shows for now So at least his delisting from Celebdaq will be expected.

I agree . Some of the talk show's missed the boat with Dirk after he left the BB house but we all just have to wait now for Dirk to bring over a new project here and appear on many shows as possible. He truly is a unique, wonderful charming man and he sure has many many fans here (and his fan base has undoubtedly grown much bigger after his appearence in BB) so he needs to do some shows here, he would be fabulous on them and a very very entertaining watch too. Come back Dirk...we miss you!!

Well done, Muttley - although I have to say that, personally, I absolutely abhor the word "community". I did not live in a community when I was a child. I lived two miles outside the nearest village and we relied totally on ourselves as a family but, on the odd occasion, visited "the village". I do not live in a community now - and ditto. Of late, the term has served to epitomise divisiveness. Whatever happend to nationhood and brotherhood?

I am sure she'll feel better soon. She has some sort of throat thing going on. Yesterday she had lost her voice completely - she is the moaner of the family so it was quite nice She has some voice today though

Hi DenJ, diva, Muttley, Hermoine,Hera and any other Dirk lovers around at the moment - Sorry I haven't been around since early Saturday - I see the thread has passed some more incredible milestones since then.
Real life came back to haunt me and I had no option but to attend to it; found out Saturday that my web-site was in big trouble (hardly surprising, since I haven't updated it since CBB began and I became enamoured with Dirk), discovered I had missed a relative's birthday and then was asked by my son if I could hold a conversation that didn't include Dirk - it was at that moment that I decided I would have to go cold turkey for a few days and attend to a few things.
I did have a peep on the forum this morning and noticed the YJ thread was at the bottom of the page - so I quickly nipped in and posted before returning to normal things like contacting family (have feeling they are all contacting one another discussing my Dirk obsession) and forcing myself to catch up with pressing matters that have nothing to do with Dirk. Very, very hard!!
Anyway, my thanks to you all for doing such an important job!!!

Hi nonsuch.
You know what i was thinking of taking a few days off from this forum, perhaps after thursday night (i wanna be here for Dirk's birthday ). I have a lot coming up in the next week or two and this place is quiet a good distraction but it is having an effect on certain things. Like right now, trying to do an essay but keep coming back here and posting .
But it is hard to take a break from here, Dirk is nice, everyone on here is nice, this forum is nice. What am i going to do?
