I do a lot of travelling in my job, so I managed to work through it in bits and pieces first time around.....I read it the 2nd time over two nights! I definatly took more in 2nd time around...

Hello Bea- I shall be lucky to make it at all - my computer is playing up big-time and I keep getting the message "Microsoft has encountered a problem and will have to close down". This has happened 7 times tonight, so will have to try and get it sorted tomorrow.

I'm off to bed in a mo folks. :yawn: :sleep: Need to catch up a bit before the big party, nearly fell asleep at my desk today.

It's a wonderful book, isn't it? I love his phraseology - so simple, so powerful and wickedly funny. It was in his coming that he had significance, eh? And "Bolero"! Wow! I'm SO impressed. (He is a fisherman, though - lest we forget!)

I went to bed with Dirky at nine last night and I was still reading at 2.30am. I couldn't put it down, it's so engrossing. I'm off to bed now, having cleared the decks and puffed my way through this thread - but I'm so looking forward to reading the remainder.

I seriously do wish he would pursue writing really seriously - and prolificly. He was formulating "Montana Memoir" as far back as 2002, according to one website and he still hasn't finished it. Whatever he writes holds real significance and he has the power to stir up controversy and hot debate and yet the truth of what he says is glaringly evident. It's all wonderful stuff - and so touching, funny - and HOT. If only he'd write some kick-ass lusty and authoratitive novels. Books with class and depth that really pack a punch. He could do it too!

He has been asked that and skirted round it, the way politicians tend to skirt round stuff, and never really taken responsibility for any of his lesser actions in the BB4 house.

I think Jon when out the house had/has a lovely forgiving nature towards his former BB4 housemates and some of their treatment towards him. Thank goodness he at least had an underdstanding friend in Federico. Federico was to Jon, what Leo was to Dirk in many ways
