There are a few parts of the film that make it worth it. Actually I quite like it when he's changing cos I read an interview where he said he liked the make up

Yes, and thank you. There's some serious gorgeousness and thud-worthy moments here as well, but it's a little easier to keep the Dirk pretty all in one place in a format like that.

I'm a big wuss normally, and I was fully expecting to be watching Sssssss from behind a cushion. Luckily I didn't have to or I could have missed some crucial nekkid moments.

*nods* Objectively, I'd say it isn't too terrible. I just don't happen to like seeing Dirk turned into a creepy half snake half man creature. For one because it mars all that pretty, but for another it's obvious the character is really suffering during his transformation, and I have too much of a soft spot for Dirk to want to see him act that out.
