Just basically told it was wrong and made to feel like an outcast, and physically had a pencil put in my right hand and told to use it until I gave in. Seemingly my teacher wanted her whole class to write the same way, imagine something like that happening nowadays, there's be uproar. It's the only thing I can remember from my early school days, it clearly had an effect on me.

Yeah, me too.....sanity is highly over-rated and very boring.

When I used to play cricket or tennis with my brother he used to use his right arm as it was how the teacher showed him (he's left handed) He was also not very good!
When I suggested he try it left handed he all of a sudden became really good at playing them
