I have been trying to define just what it is that draws so many people to Dirk. Even in the CBB house many were drawn to him him almost against their will at times. He nearly always had someone in his company, even when he went to try and have a few minutes of alone time.
It's not just Dirk's looks that lure you. He has that aura, that charisma, that charm, that some have without even having to utter a word.
He has endearing characteristics that you begin to pick up on
The ear touching, the hands on the hips. That slightly lopsided smile, that smile with his eyes, that twinkle in his eyes, that softness in his eyes that is very evident. Those glances that are all too aware of what is going on around him and his worldlywiseness
His passion in his beliefs, his astuteness.
Dirk's humanity and compassion towards others, his humility. The way he takes time out for those who seek out his company often, his dry and sometimes caustic wit and wise words, his tolerance level of some irksome people
naming no names *cough* Cleo *cough* Carole *cough*.
He can walk into a room, do absolutely nothing and all eyes will divert towards him and so he can command an audience. Both sexes seem to love him as a person
