I reckon BB wanted DB to win BEFORE all the ridiculous Jade stuff happened

eg DB turning up like he did in the A-Team van at the beginning and everything, and him being such good value viewing, but everything took a turn for the worse when the Goodys moved in

I think he would have won as well....because we know from history that people like Shilpa (pretty, nice girl) and Jermaine (quite, thoughtful guy) do not win the show in normal circumstances...

I do wonder whether they didn't hope it might be Jade though, because they did have some sort of chat show lined up for Jade before it all went pear shaped, and obviously her winning CBB would be a selling point.

Shirk was ok while it lasted

True Muttley - they were REALLY pushing the Jade angle in the beginning and her family - obviously for the next Jade show.

And what I noticed early on, was that Jade kept repeating "I never won Big Brother when I was on it before" - which I found a bit odd - I thought she won that Big Brother Pantomime thing years ago, anyway?

I also think that Dirk didn't like being set up with Cleo, which he obviously had been, as Davina was pushing the idea of him and Cleo, and her OIL, when he first went into the house.

Shirk was great...it was an of the moment kind of thing that only happens in the context of BB. I liked it because unlike so many BB romances it was sweet and innocent, with no calculates 'this'll look good on tv' angle to it...

she didn't do the panto (I don't think), she did Back to Reality, and she was 4th in that too...

It's hard to remember now, because of all the water under the bridge, but the editting was very pro-Jade in the early week or so. The arguement with Ken Russell, her reaction to her mum being evicted, the part she played in stirring up Carole about Shilpa.....

The whiskey incident was the turning point for Jade, because people didn't like how she spoke to Dirk....

I'm thinking of the All Star BB Pantomine thing - with Spencer, Victor & Co - and Jade was voted to be Cinderella in the end by the public - and they all lived in a Christmassy-type log cabin BB house!

PLEASE TELL ME I DIDN'T DREAM IT!!!!!



EDIT: Yes, I agree, Jade being mouthy to Dirk was a big mistake -
and the way he handled her was class

And who was it said that the Coven were lying when they said that Jo had spilled her whisky and that's why she wanted some of Dirk's, whereas really she hadn't at all?!!!!

Helloooooooo RGWT! - glad you managed to get a bit of a rest

The BB Pantomine I'm talking about was end Dec 04 - broke for Christmas for a few days - and then came back afterwards - I KNOW IT DID!!!!!! Jade was definitely the "Star" of that show

I know - we are all wee chatter bugs

what I noticed from watching the clip back a few times is that she doesn't drink the whiskey and probably never had any intention of doing so...

Jade was trying to get Dirk to shout at her so her pal Carole would be saved from eviction, but he didn't react quite how she expected so she lost her rag....excellent!!!

I read somewhere on some BB thread, that someone broke a plate earlier that day, and the coven pretended that it had knocked Jo's bottle of whisky over and that's why she wanted some of Dirk's, but it wasn't true -
how nasty is that?!!!!!!
