What's really amused me about the art task is that about 4 years ago my son bought me a lovely set of water-colours for a gift to try to inspire me to have a go - he's a very good artist and can also draw.
To please him, I had a go and eventually graduated from paper to large canvases and from watercolour to acrylic. anyway I put a couple of paintings on ebay - the result was that I sold 78 ( I only stopped when ebay changed the art listing policy and you had to pay a fortune to go in featured listings to get seen) and some went for £100.
I can't draw for toffee but I can paint - the theme was always the sea or sunsets/sunrises and I sold to a few European ebayers as well Just goes to show - you don't know what you can do until you try
but I do know - cos I've tried - that I can't draw
