Muttley you were talking about that pigeon on your balcony this morning disturbing your sleep - well I'm not bragging or anything but for the last 5 days I've had a small parrot on mine - he is really beautiful, I'm looking at him now - red head, yellow body, blue wings and tail - seriously I've phoned the police but nobody has reported him missing, the local vet says he'll take him in if I can catch him but if I open the balcony door he flies off and as I have been leaving food for him, he might not come back and then I don't know where he'll get food from - he's sitting there now eating a piece of apple. appears quite happy but I do worry about the seagulls getting him. If only Dirk was here, he'd know what to do.

just keep doing what your doing, he may get used to you being around eventually, or you could try leaving you door open and see if he comes in.

I don't know how you would set about catching a parrot .............. what did the vet suggest?
