I miss Dirk.

I changed my diet after reading his book and I'm still going strong with it. Lovely man
Awww, that's lovely edna!

I bet Dirk would be dead chuffed to know that!

I'm just hanging around killing time until HE realises his fate. Men are SO slow to catch on sometimes.
Think you may need to give him a push - remember, he's in his 60s so if you're going to do it, you need to do it soon

Where is nonsuch?
I don't know? Haven't seen her around for a long time

I wonder if her unexplained absence has anything to do with Dirk Benedict?

Hello there and welcome We all miss him too

Are you following the full macrobiotic diet? I do pretty much and it certainly works for me
Thanks for the welcome

I'm not doing the full macrobiotic diet, but have introduced all sorts of things I've never had before - lots of brown rice, miso soup, seaweed, all sorts of beans etc. He made me think much more about what I put into my system. Hopefully it'll be a lifelong change, so he's had quite an effect on me beyond BB.

Well done on following the full diet, I think it's a great thing to do if you can manage it.

Maybe she was cruelly tricking me all this time into thinking I was his one true love, and now she's legged it off to Montana to Dirk?

I must say, that thought had crossed my mind, gmr

Dirk would see right through her though - him being so great and everything

Not nonsuch, surely, no .........

I'm glad you've got on so well with it. The thing i find most of all is that it balances out my energy across the day ... I don't suffer these highs and lows that you tend to with other diets.

I've been following a macrobiotic diet for many years now .................. though I have a weakness - egg custard tarts

Have you been on this Dirk appreciation thread before?

I love the taste of brown rice, I think it's gorgeous!

The trouble is, I also love the taste of chocolate and a lot of other non-macrobiotic things!!!!

I wonder if Dirk EVER eats chocolate?

Out of interest Cicero, how long have you been following macrobiotic? And how did you first get into it?
