Ziggy had such a bad press during the early weeks in the house, mainly from those who couldn't interpret sensibly what was happening under their noses, or from 'celeb experts' who appeared to have watched selected tapes a couple of hours before their interviews!

After Chanelle left the house, many more viewers were able to see Ziggy as he really was - and were impressed by the way that he conducted himself. Chanelle helped I guess too, in that she wisely didn't slag him off all across the media - although her initial comments were less than glowing

I should imagine that Chanelle would be enormously insulted to read some of the comments about her over the last few weeks, as she seems like an intelligent and clued up young woman to me, rather than the victim some can see. I'd say she's doing very well under probably very difficult circumstances - and I'm sure Ziggy is proud of her

Great news about the scrapbook mabs.
I am sure he will be thrilled and touched that you have gone to so much trouble.

Hi julia - I do pop in here from time to time, although I'm busier than I'd like at the moment It's a bugger when real life interferes with your free time, don't ya think

It's difficult with magazines in particular, I feel, as most of them are wildly out of date in real terms, byt the time we can read them. It's no good 'choosing' which to believe depending on whether you agree with them or not however!!

All we can usefully do is wait and see - and in the meantime, let the pair of them get on with it - they'll do what they do regardless of what we think

Ive popped in here to add my thoughts about the Chiggy thread of which I have been a regular poster.
Please let me firstly point out one thing. Its not a Chiggy thread. It is in fact a Chanelle and Ziggy appreciation thread. If they stay together then great but if not it is still a place where people can discuss them both either favourably or critically so long as its constructive.
I was a member of both BNNP threads and they got closed mainly because they split so it became more of a Nikki thread. Having it named seperately enables both of them to be spoken about much like here and the Chanelle thread.
I like them both. I critisize them both and have been frustrated, cross, happy and sad during their relationship. I have also been up and down on my feelings for them both but do tend to stray to Chanelles side more often, however, Im not blind to either of them and will apportion blame as I see fit.
I dont post in the seperate threads much as I feel each is completely pro their party and quite anti the other at times. Trying to defend them in their opposing threads is often upsetting and pointless tbh. Doing it in the 'Chiggy' thread is easier as you have both sides seeing both sides if that makes sense.
I personally feel like an alien if I go to either thread as its quite cliquey in them. People may feel that way about the joint thread but because its for both I think alot feel happy to post there and I hope they are all made welcome.
Just to say Ive been very disappointed with both of them recently because they are allowing this to happen to them. However, I feel more anger towards their so called friends, their agents and ex housemates for putting problems in their way when they should be supporting them. If I can support them as a complete stranger then those who know them or claim to should be supporting them moreso.

But it will always be that way in a shared thread. Not all posters will like them both 50/50 all the time. That's why it's nice to have the individual App. threads too. The pair of them drove me mad at different times in the house, but that's why I liked them so much. It felt to me that it was their house with lots of unwanted visitors that they couldn't get rid of I sympathised in that respect, I've had many a weekend like that at my place and that was with people I know and love

I see theres been some chat about the other thread. I do read whats said over there and on the whole I find it pretty fair. There are very few posters who aren't too kean on Zig and it seems to be on the day that the mags come out that people tend to stress about things. I think most people want whats best for both of them and wish them well.
