There is a poster on the Chanelle Hits Back thread who claims to have witnessed Chanelle's behaviour first hand. He's a journalist and used to write for the Star. He wasn't in Dubai but knows reporters who were and from what they tell him Ziggy was speaking the truth.
I know we can't take this poster's words as gospel, after all, who knows who anyone really is on here, but he seems to know what he is talking about.

I know full well that Ziggy has many many flaws and sometimes watching him in the house I wanted to pick him up and shake him, but give me someone with real live flaws rather than idolising supposed perfection. One thing I've learned in life is that if you put someone on a pedestal then your sure to be disappointed somewhere down the line cause ain't no one of us is perfect (despite what some threads on here would have you believe) but underneath I think he is a sincere and good guy. One day (who knows maybe in a years time, maybe 5 years or maybe tomorrow) he will meet someone who he can set up a life with and be settled and happy. I really hope that good things come for him. Just remember Ziggy whatever doesn't kill you can only make you stronger
In the mean time I hope he gets out there and has fun with who ever he wants to have fun with.

Having read it I am convinced by what he says, it was too insightful for somebody making it up.

Anyway I have only read through all the posts today because of time restrictions, but all I want to say is well done everyone. I have read some really great posts today, all making lots of sense. If I wasnt so lazy I would go and multiquote them, but seeing as there were so many good ones it will take ages, so I will say again, WELL DONE!!
The heat article made me so sad. I found it very emotional and believed every word. Such a sad looking zig on the front cover. I had it in my basket in Waitrose and felt like telling the whole store, "see this man here?, well me and loads of others on our wonderful DS ZAT absolutely support him 100% and we think he is great!!" I didnt obviously but I wanted to.
And let me tell you all, I am 36, so only ten years older so I am most definitely in the queue! (sorry hubby!) just a little time spent with him, pllleeeaasssee!!

Interesting to see what DS do at end of 6 month contract. They will continue to support her now as they have a calendar to sell. I suppose Gemma Atkinson (I think that is her name) in IACGMOH is going to be the very much more in demand in new year.

Just picking up on a few points from above posts.
Nobody seems to deny the abuse.
If I have this right - the NOTW stuff is true. The DS / OK people know it and printed it in DS as its too good a story not to
They had an alternative anti-Ziggy story to tell based on what Chanelle said and were presumably keeping it until there was a break-up.
As Ziggy finished with Chanelle last week he perhaps knew that this might be the story they ran with - or may have thought that they would if Chanelle told the papers she was dumped. So he went to Heat and NOTW to get in first.
I agree that putting it out there was to protect himself and also to put an end to the relationship once and for all - to make sure he didn't weaken. Much as Pete did last year
I agree that Ziggy has looked very uncomfortable in photos with Chanelle - I think he always has done - the nice photos are the ones were he is with other people - but I'm not an avid fan and haven't studied them all so may be wrong
I do recall however that the night of the make-up launch that a fashion reporter said that Chanelle looked po-faced - Ziggy looked happy chatting up page 3 girls!!

TBH I think it was a case of chanelle telling him if he broke up with her that she would go to the press and say he done this and that (she bluffed e thought she would and he went for it) He done the story.I still maintain if chanelle had went to the paper people would still be loving her and sticking up for her.

If they believed her story then yes they might have done which I assume is why Ziggy felt it necessary to get in first with what does, increasingly, seem to me to be the truth.
Drummer matt seems to know what he's talking about - he knows 6 journalists who were in Dubai - he says - and they confirm what Ziggy has said and he says that he has witnessed her being a diva. Plus I remember a journalist / photographer who was assigned to Chanelle when she first came out of the house saying that she was a nightmare to work with with her diva-like behaviour

Of course they would. Many are still not accepting she has any issues. All totally bizarre. Lets face it he is being called everything for doing a kiss & tell it would be far worse if he as being called a girl friend beater / cheat.

See this is what I don't get - why do people think that someone they saw on BB is perfect. We're not perfect why should they be. Why cannot they assess the info and decide whether something is right or not.
I'm pretty neutral in all this - not a great Ziggy fan, nor a Chiggy fan and not a Chanelle fan. I've followed their story through the threads here out of boredom at work. This is the first day I've posted because this story interests me - and I wanted to know more. Now I do have more facts I think I can understand what's happening. Others seem to have their judgement clouded by what they assume - Chanelle must love Ziggy, Ziggy must be paranoid. etc. etc Its ridiculous

Thanks to everyone who flew the flag today, I've read Heat & it is heartbreakingly sad 
but sometimes the best decisions we make for ourselves are the hardest ones to make in the first place. Part of me wishes though that the content of the texts was published & it was a thing I criticised Channelle for as well but that's just me
My DVDs arrived today so it's going to be a bit strange watching parts of it after recent events but hey it's got Ziggy & they're the most important parts.
The one thing I find hardest to understand is how some people on the threads wo seemed to me to be good friends with each other have split so decisively & some posts are but I won't say anymore & bite my tongue

The issue is not actually a few Chanelle fanatics on a site like this. It would be a much bigger issue if he was outed as violent in terms of the wider public.
