It has been good reading back through this thread and catching up.

I must say that some forum members on other threads have disappointed me tremendously in their attitude. I won't say who, because thats not nice, but I've seen and read some things that I really don't like and find it difficult to understand how people can appear so nice and yet turn so suddenly when defending one against the other. It saddens me to think that I thought these people were my forum friends. Just goes to show you.

Hi mabbs, lovely to see you back. You were quite right to take a break it was the best thing to do considering the way you were feeling at the time.

I know what you mean about FMs turning, I found myself the other day on the end of someones rant, someone I might add in the past I have PMd because they had got the hump over something or other and thrown the towel in, who was always very fair to both Chanelle and Ziggy and I found myself having to say on the thread that I thought better of them then that. Its a great shame that people get so caught up in things that friendship goes out of the window. Anyway if they are only fair weather friends they are really not worth the effort.

Anyway I think you can see reading through the thread that we are quite upbeat and long may it stay that way.

I agree its been very disappointing to read posts by certain people who I thought were supporters of both Zig and Chan but who have now turned so nasty They don't seem to understand that Zig had his reasons for doing what he did and don't want to accept that Chan may have some serious problems she should be helped with.

Hi Mabbs and morning all! I think sometimes we all need to take a step back and have a break, it just gets too much.

I posted in some other threads last night, as I'd been so busy all day it was difficult to say much before then. I shall have a break from that today, it's exhausting trying to make points that go straight over some FM's heads.

It's natural that we should feel passionate about Z&C as we invested so much emotional energy in them and the relationship, so I can understand why some erstwhile supporters are now feeling disillusioned and angry.

However, when posts become bitter, vitriolic and abusive, I feel this has less to do with the ex HMs and more to do with the individual poster. There are people out there who've had very bad experiences in relationships and I think that this split brings it all back to them, so they post with their own baggage at the forefront.

At this stage I guess very few FMs will change their minds about either Z or C and who is right, who is wrong.

I just hope they can both be happy and move on, but I have a feeling that this tit for tat saga will run and run When you become involved in a discussion about who has more fans, it's like trying to compare cheddar cheese to sushi!
