Hi everyone. I've been lurking on and off this thread for a while and now I finally have posting access so I thought I'd say hi

Stephanie was deffo one of my favourite housemates this year, I remember her more than I remember people like Kat, Mo and Rachel (and they were there till the last week, one of them winning!). I'm glad she's doing well out the house, I can't wait til her single comes out - she's an amazing singer!
aww Hayy gos were getting more and more people every day .
I can not wait either so excited

On the thread about Steph, apparently papers + stuff have been using quotes from here and then G said about not discussing it in here.
Ah maybe i got the wrong end of the stick?
I think you could be right.
Journalists do have a habit of using DS:BB and other BB forums to take quotes from to use in stories, its how theese vicious journalists work, any scrap no matter how small they can find they will use.
I think we do have to be extra vigilant in what we write today - think about it before you post it.

oi! im becoming a journalist! i dont plan on being a vicious one though!.. thats why id rather stay here and hear confirmation off germaine or steph herself.. just cause i know its coming from a legitimate source!.. but yeh.. 'celebrity' journalism is the lowest of the low.. and bb helped create it!

haha oh dear why do you wanna be a journo glad u wanna be a decent one though - dont let yer bosses turn you if you do become one It's a dog eat dog world the world of journalism depending how high up the journalistic ladder you do.

yep celebrity journalism is the lowest, only in the UK are they are as crazy over celebs as this, even in America it is'nt actually as bad as the UK's journalisms surprisingly.
but we do have to think too without it - we would'nt have all of Steph's positive articles we've had too, they can be good on their day some of the journalists when they wanna be but they do turn quickly

Thanks for the welcome everyone

Does anyone know if Steph's going to be doing any promotion for her single? Like photoshoots or interviews, etc.

politics.. as boring as that sounds.. i just never want to venture anywhere near 'celebrity' journalism even though i love talking about it to everyone and anyone.. its like hitting a brick wall with most people cause they believe everything that is written in the press.. im one of these, unless you hear it from that person's mouth yourself that dont believe it to be 100% fact. ever. it just makes people work very very hard for your trust, which is a good and bad thing .. but yeh.. one thing to thank big brother for this year.. i got my uni place by presenting the email that i wrote to peter dyke about the 'bring back steph' campaign and got into a whole 20minute convo during my admissions interview about big brother.. and found out one of the producers is from coventry.. i was like gawd no.. but thats all i thank big brother for this year.. making me slightly more aware of the deviousness of the whole entertainment business.. makes me sick tbh

yeah i agree unless you hear it from the person involved its very difficult to believe 100% even more so when you know how the journos produce their stories and are always alert for it. 3 most worst papers for it all deal with Big Brother - Daily Star, The Sun, NOTW.
Would'nt trust any journo working for any of them.

aww its nice you got into uni with an email about that 'bring back steph' campaign.
yeh i dont thank BB for much this year, maybe i'll go on it sometime haha (god no id be scared of the press!) the only thing i thank them for is allowing Steph on the show and giving us 7/8 wonderfull days in June. and ever more wonders after on this AT.

Oh dear, the worst ever possible journalist Katie Begley at it again, I do have to wonder how much Steph has been misquoted by this reporter.

Those storys aren't gonna help matters but what I get from them is that Steph is being honest and "rex's friend" is denying it all cus Rex doesn't want to get into sh*t with Nicole
