I laughed so hard at Gerry bobbing for apples! Even my Big Brother hating spouse thought it was funny too. Definitely a 'best bit'!
That was hella funny.

aw that had me crying. Was lovely. I loved Alex from the start of BB 3. I wish I could find one of his nominations because people peed in the shower. The guy was hilarious.
Is he gay ? I was always unsure. Alex drove me nutty in BB3. I don't think he is/was gay cause he was very interested in Kate at the start of BB3. |

Kara-Louise says she ignores Gerry
Day 69, 22:30 BST By James Lee Kara-Louise and Brian bonded tonight, as she admitted to not listening to Gerry’s lectures. In the caravan, Brian told Kara-Louise that he felt unintelligent in the house. He told her how he felt uncomfortable when Gerry talks about "museum stuff". Kara-Louise replied: "Do you think I know anything that Gerry says? I just smile and nod." She explained: "Yeah I go to Uni.. but I spend most of my time getting drunk, going to clubs… I'm smart but I can't recite the entire Roman history." Brian laughed and expressed disbelief. She further admitted: "Yeah I went to the lectures but I didn't pay attention. I was either hung over or thinking about what I'd spend the rest of the day doing... I write the essays in the minimum time possible... but when I'm done I can't remember... the second I finish an exam I can't remember anything." What is it with celebrating non-intelligence in this BB? I like Gerry a lot (obviously) but his high intelligence is only one small part of a big package (ooo errr) for me. I am not one of these people that bothers too much how intelligent the people I am talking with are. I certainly would never take against someone because they are not clever BUT I would never enshrine "thickness" as a glorious virtue which is what some of these HMs seem to want to do. Bizzare.

I would like to state to DS Forums that we the Gerry Appreciation Support are serious and genuine in our love for Gerry.
We do not go out of our way to hurt or abuse anyone but we are human beings who see someone being attacked mercilessly at times. We also realise this is a game and there is a lot of joking about the players. We will try to ensure that everyone adheres to the rules of not mentioning other forum users but if someone does, that is totally out of our control. People do not always know the rules and there has to be some leeway on that till they do. We the members who have been here for some time will ensure that our Gerry supporters will follow the rules. Thank you. Apologies to everyone for any misdemeanours that might have occurred in my posts. Still a relative newbie here and genuinely don't want to be offensive. I tend to ignore the anti-Gerry threads anyway and play here most of the time. Will use the alert button if I see anything offensive too. I do think some people might be finding our thread a tiny bit challenging however so we will have to watch ourselves and follow the DS rules strictly. I am sure we can all manage that. |

This has probably been translated in the wider forums as "Gerry attacks Brian for being stupid" Brianiac was also saying yesterday that he didn't like old things. He'd just love where I used to work as we had editions of a local paper that went back nearly 100 years |

Slightly worried that today might be D-Day for Gerry. I felt the vibe in last nights H/Ls was very negative from nearly all the other HMs.
So we at least have him for another week.

BB AXES TWINS
07/08/07 TWINS Sam and Amanda Marchant have been targeted in a Big Brother plot that could see them booted out of the house. Bosses worked out a ploy that, in effect, forced the pair to put themselves up for eviction from the house. BB acted because they realised it was the only way to get the twins out – as none of the housemates would vote for them and they do not want the girls to win by doing nothing. The cunning scheme was revealed when the 19-year-olds were called to the Diary Room early yesterday for the time-travelling task. Sam and Amanda were “transported” back to Day Two when they had asked BB if they were being counted as one or two housemates. BB told them they could be treated as two or one, but if they decided on two, they must choose one of them for Friday’s eviction vote. The twins, who cannot bear being apart, chose to be treated as one with the penalty being that both face the public vote this Friday. Sam said: “We’d prefer to go up for nomination together than separately. I would never vote for Amanda and she would never vote for me. We prefer to be as one anyway.” But other housemates – and fans – reckon BB’s plot will backfire. Gerry Stergiopoulos, 31, said: “Whoever goes up against you this week is dead. You are safe.” Yesterday housemates made their nominations and the two with the most votes will go up against “Samanda” on Friday. Fans predict that schemer Amy Alexandra, 21, and Carole Vincent, 53, will be up. |

Ziggy ponders sex with Gerry for money
Day 70, 09:14 BST By James Lee Tracey questioned what it would take for Ziggy or Liam to have sex with Gerry last night. During a late night conversation in the bedroom, Tracey pointed to Gerry and asked: “Would you do your friend over there for a million?” Ziggy immediately said he wouldn’t, but Liam remained more open-minded to the idea. He joked: “For a million I’d be at him.” At which point Gerry jumped on his bed saying: “The tabloids will pay.” Ziggy admitted that the money would be tempting, saying: “I'd have to see the money in front of me. A million is a lot of money.” |

We are getting quite a lot of attention from people who look here and dont post. Or they go to the Myspace site. Gerry has more support out there!!!
![]() We have had several emails of support on gerrytowin@yahoo.co.uk One lady, is going to work on a blog to send me to add to myspace on Gerry. She also sent me this. For now, would you like to give a plug for this exhibition? Some of your visitors might have had their appetites whetted for learning some Ancient Greek history: http://www.dudley.gov.uk/leisure-and...gends-and-hero I'm going to pop over and have a look but it won't be until next month at the earliest. Perhaps the museum should sign Gerry up as a tour guide! Also, have you seen the poster you can download from www.tokyotoys.com It's very cool and I think they could drum up some customers with it! If anyone else has anything they want to write for a blog on Gerry's myspace then please feel free to do it. All and any ideas are appreciated

I will not believe it until I see it from a very reliable source. I can just see the likes of L, Z, Tr and Br all voting for Gerry en bloc because they see him as a potential threat in the final but that up against the Twins he would be a dead HM walking. I dislike this 4 as it is and will really be cross if they have indeed put our hero up. But from a purely game players point of view it would make tactical sense to use the Twins as leverage to get out a quality opponent. Still worried here. |

Sounds interesting although I prefer Roman, Anglo-Saxon and Viking history.
Although I am interested in the Byzantine Empire which I suppose counts as Greek At least that is what I did for my A-Levels equivalent. I loved it and was totally fascinated by all the political machinations. |

If he was to survive this week I would almost think he was worth some silly money because its only the Twins and Brian I would feel dead certain he could not beat in a "Vote to Win" situation. Liam is becoming more reviled by the day and I don't see many appreciation threads for him. |
