Extremely good news!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reverse Ferret has announced that it is Amy, Kara and Jonty who have to face of with The Twins in this weeks eviction.

PHEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!

The rest of the board are up in arms that Carole has missed out again.

Where I am just deliriously happy Gerry is not in the mix and that I have been a proper numpty with all of my alarmism.

Apologies to all fellow Gerry-appreciators.

Yay!!!! Another fab week with our boy.

Well at least he's not up and my opinion FWIW:

We will be able to predict who is up for the rest of the series!!

So unless BB make it a double this week, they will continue to pick all the newbies off one by one all the way till the final eviction Friday

I suspect a double eviction the penultimate Friday cos all 8 originals will sail through to the last two weeks. This will guarantee good viewing figs as favourites remain.

The double will see off 2, and 6 will remain (sam and manda = 2) in the final week. 1 midweek eviction and then Final night will still have 5, but the twinnies leaving last counting as one.

Mommy Dearest will make it to the final week I'm sure.

My crystal ball says so!

Hows that for an Endemol plan??

Gerry will survive next weeks noms too Im sure - it will be Jonty and KL

To be honest in a proper eviction battle I think Gerry could beat all of Ziggy, Carole, Tracey and any of the HWHMs.

At a pinch he might even see off Liam - especially if it were a Double Eviction OR a 3-way vote.

I was absolutely paranoid he was going up against the Twins and I believe he would have really struggled to survive against them in an Eviction battle.

Hence my erractic worried ramblings over the past 2 days.

However if he can make the Finals night I really believe he can take it to all the other candidates (with the probably exception of Brian who IMO has looked a nailed on certainty to win ever since he got out of the car - but you never know) since I really think our fan base is very strong and I am not convinced this is the same for some of the other HM's fan bases.

Not watching LF myself but it sounds like him at Kara-Lousie are starting a mutiny against Carole's tyrannical reign in the kitchen.

Could be some fireworks but if Gerry can keep his cool and pull this off he might yet gain some vital support from the many out there who are fed up with the house sel-appointed matriarch.

Hi, I am new on the forum. I have my Gerry rosette pinned on my dress, the blue-white of Greece, and I want to join your thread because Gerry is my favourite HM this year. His subtle coup against Carole in the kitchen today has reinforced my view that Gerry is the only real individual in the house, and he stands up for what is right. It is also good news that Gerry has escaped nominations (if this is true) because he will stay in perhaps to the final night. That surely can only be good news for us all on this thread, so I am celebrating with you all.

I was quite liking K-L until this BUT now I'm definitely going off her.

I could be wrong but i suspect that Kara-L fancies Gerry, most of the time i turn on LF she seems to be hanging around with him, and leaning forward listening to him intently when he talks even though she doesnt get it. I dont think she should have told Brian though, he'll just tell her that Gerry's trying to talk down to her or something

Hi Duffryn - welcome to the thread

Vrouli: I would bet my wages on it! RF has been on this forum for some time and never ever 'predicted' wrong.
Hand on heart, you can relax

The only sad things is that Gerry was the only other hm to be nommed this week and Gerry or Tracey will be the only original hm's to be nommed week after week against the HWHM's. They are all thick as thieves.

Its not right for the HWHM's to be used and chucked aside really just to save the ratings. Not that I personally have a favourite amongst them, but they all see this as a 'once in a lifetime' chance, and a 'class' system is now in place. It just dont feel right.

Yes.

Welcom Duffryn.

Yay! Gerry is staying. Making a coup against the odious kitchen controlling Carole.

AND I am no longer the newest member on the Gerry Appreciation Thread.

Its all good!!!!

I agree with all of this.

Would just add that it not until BBLB that we will get absolute conversation but RF has never let this board down before and I don't see why that would start now.

As to Gerry's continued existence in the house I think we all have to accept that most of the other "so-called original" HMs have taken against him and will probably seek to ostracise him from now on.

I for one found last nights HL show when they were doing the task very uncomfortable. Carole, Tracey and Ziggy were all having a go at Gerry in a nasty way from what I could see.

I expect we will see more of this over the next fortnight BUT I remain very optimistic that we can see off any eviction challenges that might come our way in the future.

GO GERRY GO!!!!!

Thank you all for your very kind messages of welcome.

We have to thank the HWHM because if they had not come in it would probably be Gerry in the firing line this week. Carole has it in for him for disobeying her very specific orders and the two big show offs would have nominated him too, so I'm thankful for that. Brian's nomination would be a given too. Lets celebrate that our boy is still in there to annoy the hell out of Carole and stop her control freakery. Fingers crossed.
