NOTW named a 'friend' of Amanda's to claim she's ended it. No actual evidence of this, or indeed that they even started anything outside the house.

OH s....t I wanted Brians photgraph to be a piece of art, not some old BB C4 25th ann. Lets hope Lord Snowdon get enough freedom to produce a cracking piece of work.

I know and I thought Oh no! Anyway we voted and so did m any others and he won BB8.

I would like to believe it isn't true, in fact I hope it isn't!

It must have been like plaiting fog in the beginning Sten. I saw mitacond pop up a few times at the start, and cheeks was there also.

On the upside he'll be photographed with the fabulous Nadia (who I suspect will flirt outrageously with him)

I know and I don't think anyone but Sten and a few really thought much of Brian. However I find that really wierd and the GBP seemed to have him loved right from the beginning.

Quite a few who seemed enthusiastic to start with just disappeared. It did get quite disheartening when there were really active threads for complete nonentities like Charley and Chanelle. But I never had any (well, much ) doubt who the winner would be.

Well I suppose that is a bonus then

I spotted the thread on the 29th June and put my first post on then, but declared my support for him on the WHATM some days before then. I often found this thread lurking on page 8 or 9 at that time. Brian was a bit of a slow burner but built the momentum up and peaked at just the right time, thankfully.

Its wierd but I liked both Charley and Brian. I don't know why but I did.

However I am pleased Brian won as I really believe he deserved it as he was such a great hm.

I still post on the two appreciation threads as I still like them both.

Nadia will be as fabulous as ever As someone wondered on another thread, not sure how Brian BB2 will manage to escape Hell's Kitchen for long enough to get snapped. And will Kate want to be associated with BB now - she seems very snobby and dismissive of the show (without which, no one would ever have heard of her).

Brian was like the Cameron of BB8 - he had very little support on here, despite being popular with the GBP.

I saw a snippet of the show and I thought I know that face, and now you have mentioned it of course its her.

I supported Cameron and when I saw how little support he had on DS I was really amazed.

I always felt sorry for Charley. She seems so unaware of the reality surrounding her and lived in her own little world But I didn't think she was the star of the show and couldn't understand why some found her so fascinating. But then there are plenty who would say the same about Brian, so there ya go, different strokes and all that

It took me quite a while to actually get into the prog this year, watched the first one - and didn't even bother posting at DS for a while

For shame! I came close to switching off this year for the first time ever. On the night the four guys entered, I was all set to turn off when the last of them appeared - Brian - and I immediately thought 'this bloke is going to be gold dust'

I didn't dislike Charley, in fact I found it quite amusing the lengths some would go to vilify her when others in the house could be just as OTT and were often! I couldn't have supported her to win mind you, but I don't think she is the monster some would have her.

I was really torn, because apart from Chanelle I could see good in all of them. I just found myself defending Brian more and more and one day thought 'heck I like this guy and want him to win'. He sort of reminds me of my youngest son, not academically bright but can suss a situation in seconds. My son is very artistic, and proved it by producing my very gorgeous grandaughter!

Very intuitive of you Sten ~respect~ took me a while to appreciate him

I knew Brian was a BB legend in the making 20 seconds into his VT Although to hear some on here, he's the new Stalin - only worse

They are the worst sort - puffed up with their own importance and forget where they came from.

It's common enough. Just look at Jim Davidson - who started on a talent show and now knocks Brian Dowling for making his name on an RTV

Just thought we should really watch out for brian on hells kitchen allot of ex housemates keep popping up on there
