Iknow I was watching that the caravan scene and they were hilariouos.

I remember JD's first performance on that show (feel ashamed to admit I found him very funny) and now just look at Chanelle - out of the house 5 minutes and stropping around like a right diva.

Would love to see Brian on there (even better if it was just him and Amanda having a romantice meal for 2! )

I actually saw Jim Davidson live once (many years ago - I think Mike Reid was on the same bill) and he seemed very funny. Don't remember him doing any overtly offensive jokes. But now - he's just a bitter and twisted old bigot

To be fair to you Sten I don't think JD was overtly offensive in the beginning. It was only later he got really offensive. Or we got more aware of what was offensive?

Aah - completely passed me by but then again I was a middle-aged (by your definition ) hetero female so she wouldn't have had a huge impact.

Well, I can remember JD appearing on prime time TV and doing his 'comedy' Chalkie White voice and the audience (including a fair number of black people) finding it uproariously funny. Seems unbelievable now, but then Charlie Williams was also as bad and he was black himself. I guess it's just attitudes which have changed.

I've long thought that JD was in the closet himself.

I actually didn't like anyone in BB3 much. My favourite was Sunita and she walked after 10 days Alex was OK, but the BB3 final four was the worst ever, IMHO.

Hi all,
We've had guests. Spent all day cleaning, cooking and gardening. Now:yawn:. Determined to keep everything spotless in future to avoid last minute rushing around! But I know that's one resolution I won't keep.

RE few posts on the thread at the beginning. I actually couldn't think of anything new to say! I didn't want to keep posting - 'still love Brian, he's so funny and kind' - I'd have looked like a parrot.
