Yeah, I know what you mean. Like £2 sounds like a lot more than £1.97 when you see it written, which is how supermarkets trick you into thinking you're paying a lot less

I'm proud to say I've never fallen for such tricks

Even when I was a little kid and my parents would want to buy the 99p sweets instead of my preferred £1 sweets, I'd ask them what the hell difference it makes - well, not those exact words, but....
