evening all,
have only just got back in from brighton and i'm absolutey shattered as we had about 2 hours sleep last night lol
just to say PHOARRR!! Pete was absolutely fantastic and a brilliant performer and everyone had a brilliant time.
he sang cosmonaut first, then love dog, billy idols white wedding, squeezes col for cats,nuff buzzin,(which by this stage everyone was..lol), then finished with happy land. His singing was awesome.
also simon told us there were lots of media, photographers and radio stations there so fingers crossed for pete that something good will come of it.
anyway will be back later prob, need some sleep...lol

greetings laughing fairy and thanks for the pics,

have only just got up as needed to recover from brighton, what a night it was, pete was brilliant and he was so lovely afterwards chatting and hugging his fans for ages, he is such a lovely guy who genuinely cares for people and this really comes across to everyone who meets him.
when london gig is arranged, whoever is going, when u meet him, you'll see what i mean, can't wait for london one now and also to meet some of u guys.

Brighton gig rocked.
At first only about a hundred people or so in the venue until about 10pm ...then it started filling up , by the time Pete was on the place was buzzing!!
Self Service and Gary were great , and Pete really rocked!!
Had an after-party which was brilliant and everyone left about 1am after an amazing time.
I'd forgotten my tickets PANIC! but got in on the guest list anyway,so no probs....Gemma was there ,so beautiful and charming in real life,the pics of her don't do her justice,she is absolutely lovely.
I don't bother with information from sources like the mirror ,not very relliable,will wait to hear from Pete or Gemma about their wedding plans.
Stunty, lots of pics at the same link as before ....I gave Petey your love and told him you're my fellow DS Petey defender , he sends lotsa sugary love back to you and said thanks for being so loyal!!

Has everyone read that article in the local brighton newspaper. Personally i think its written by a very bitter DF fan who is still hacked off that he left. I had a feeling when the article started off by saying what stars DF could have been I Knew what way the article was going.

i agree micky about the article obviously not an unbiased view by the writer and everyone who was there had a fantastic time and said what a great performer pete is.

Bitter old men ...sums up WB and Nick/Nimbus...there was no need for them to be there except to support a friend ,but obviously they couldn't manage that and had to promote their band and heckle instead. They are well past their sell-by-date and no one had even heard of them pre Pete being on BB,so it's not like he harmed their non existant progress. They should be ashamed , because he genuinly values their friendship and they just keep stabbing him in the back.Everyone else there had a great time,just their sour faces in the audience and the hassle they tried to cause at the end which everyone ignored or didn't notice,certainly wasn't enough to spoil the evening for anyone. Infact most people were blissfully unaware of the undercurrents .
True friends of Pete such as Nathan and Jack playing keyboards ,more than made up for it. And Pete dealt with it so well and so proffessionally that he would have only gained respect from any on-looker not linked to DF (unlike the journo friend of theirs they were hanging out with)!!
I must say that I have been pleasantly surprised (having heard the DF stuff) just how good Pete's voice is and his stage-presence is unbelievable...he owns that stage when he's on there!!!

nothing else to add except i agree with you 100% and genuine pete fans who were there had a brilliant time and pete gave a fantastic performance, roll on liverpool.

Just wanted to say someone has got alot of front considering a certain post that was made on the BB forum. It was quickly sorted out though never to be seen again.

Spokesman for Pete has confirmed that he isn't getting married at Glastonbury.
