Wanda, it was great at oxford wasn't it and it was so lovely to meet you.

This was the better pete signing out of the two i've been to, the atmosphere was more relaxed than at the brum one and got to spend a bit more time with pete, which was great, he's such a lovely, genuine guy.

Anyway, when it was my turn, i went up and pete said i remember you from last week, i said yes we met at brum signing and he grinned and said nice to see you again mate. I'd got my pp badge on (disc61) and he said he liked my name, i said the initials are for my name, my hubbys and my two sons and he could work out himself what the 61 meant! He started grinning, then he gave me a big hug and kiss and signed my book and put lots of kisses on it, then the borders staff took our photo. I also congratulated him on his engagement to cherry and he looked so pleased and happy, then we said bye and i went to talk to some of the other pp'ers, wanda, jubs, happy hamster and maryk19, we took some more photos, then i had to go to get train home. It was a brilliant day, it was great to meet pete again, he is just a lovely, gorgeous guy and does so much for his fans. I need to have a lie down now after all that!

My goodness me I've only been gone a couple of days and I've missed sooooooo much. Can't believe the number of banned users that have posted on here

Wish I'd been around when our visitors arrived but I've had a few family probs and just haven't had the time to come on here

I didn't even know about Pete and Cherry's engagement till yesterday evening when my daughter rang me.
I think it's absolutely fantastic. It seems clear to me that they both adore each other.

Really good to meet ya dummy's gummy mummy. You have got one great daughter. I too am a mummy of a couple of Petey fans. They don't post on here though but we're all pp site members. Are you a member there too?

Nice to meet all you other genuine Pete fans who have recently posted on here too.

Hi Itsy, good to see you back posting Hope the family problems are sorted for you now, and if not, then soon

The book signings have gone well for Pete and his fans by the looks of it, and I just love reading all the write ups and seeing the pics taken But Pete must be exhausted from racing around the country from one signing to another in such a short time. And I am glad for him that he will be able to get a break from it now and hopefully take some time out for himself, Cherry and his family.

It was so lovely to read of his engagement and I wish them both the best for their future I haven't even congratulated them on the PP site yet. Need to get my brain into gear and go do that soon

Hi everyone just popped in to catch up on all the news. Thanks Wanda and BB6fan for sharing what happened at book signing yesterday sounds like you all had a great time meeting Pete. Shame Pete cannt go on another book signing tour. Im going to miss all this

Were planning on arranging a signing in warwickshire you up for it

The really great thing about you lot planning for that, is that I think Pete would be up for that, bless him

So it looks like Warwickshire's the favourite venue ...ok I'll start cleaning up me front room ....and you lot think of a way to temp Mr.Bennett up the M40!!
I'll have a cup of coffee waiting for you!! (drop of brandy in it ...purely for medicinal reasons on these cold winter days lol!! )

I am sure you can think of many temptations, Wanda Instead of dangling well hung carrots for donkeys we can dangle cherries for Pete from your car in front Talking of Donkeys and well hung car..... No, must leave it there

Real sorry. Im pleased i was wrong...its great to be wrong as that way your always learning!! Petes a truly grand guy,actually i didnt dislike anyone in the house....there were some i proberbly would find hard to get along with as i dont like to talk about others or gossip....but i loves everyone!!!!!!

This is a bit of pointless info really, but I thought it was interesting on DF myspace page they have pete as one of there mates and have posted a message on his page, Pete has also been wearing a DF shirt at signings, so there friends again?

Yes, Pete and DF are on good terms and Wob had always said that they were never on bad terms..I think things just got a little muddled between them all, but all sorted now

I'm with you Weyhey...there was nobody I really disliked in the house, all had there good points and nice side..and I dont like judge any of them too harshly as I am sure being in the BB house would bring out the best and the worst in anybody

Rosie we have a massive park and a castle with loads of trees ...so we just have to persuade him that it's the perfect venue.
So wedding at Kenilworth Castle and reception in my front room ....I'm liking the sound of it ...anyone wanna help make sarnies??!!
