No me neither, I havent watched a minute of it, I cant see how it's ever going to be better than Pete or BB7 again. I'd watch if Pete did go back in but he's trying to get away from the BB thing right now and who can blame him. I respect him for not trying to continue to get work from being a BB housemate and talking about BB.
Agree with you whole heartly. As much as I love to see Pete on TV Im so glad he has lots of work and doesnt need to like many ex HM rely on BB programmes to keep them in the media. Theres more to Pete then being a celeb he has alot of talent.[imo]

Hi everyone
IMO Pete would most certainly win if he were in the house now, lets be honest who ever thought at the beginning of last years BB anyone would ever make as big an impact on the British public as Pete did and with no disrepect to them I really don't believe any of this years housemates could possibly have the same effect.
I agree with what you all say and even though I also would love to see more of Pete on the Tv (and I'm sure we will) he has lots to keep him busy and who can blame him for concentrating on his own thing.

Considering the backlash this series has had so far - Pete is best off out of it. His real fans know exactly what he is up to now and how busy he is preparing for his single release and what he has in the pipepline that is not common knowledge yet. We also know how hard is working.

i'm in total agreement with all that people have said even though i'd love to see pete on tv again, i'm glad he's not in the house this year with the load of wannabes that are in there.
h'es got so much going for him at the moment with his music career and single release and he deserves all the success in the world.

Good news about the addition of another gig date. That proves the demand to see Pete perform is there and the word is finally getting out. After he does a fantastic show so lets hope lots of people get to see him.

Not sure I can get to this one - still waiting but anticipation is part of the fun I suppose.

Hiya everyone

I agree with what you are saying about Pete, I think Pete would do wicked on this big brother as well

Last years big brother was the best big brother anyways, because the majority of the housemates where better than the housemates in the other big brothers I think anyway, so i think like someone said, for Pete to be the favorite all the way through out of all the other housemates last year, then that was wicked

And like when people say that last years was rubbish because Pete was the favourite from day one and stuff, and like they don't like him because of it or whatever, its like, the only reason Pete was favourite from day one and all the way through big brother, was because the vast majority of the british public liked him the best, a mean like its not as if, some random bloke can stand there and say Petes the favourite, if he isn't, is the, someone just saying it can't make him the favourite, I mean like if someone out of this big brother that isn't liked very much, if someone said they was the favourite, would that magically make all most of the UK like them? He was favourite because most people liked him best, thats all the is to it, I mean no one had to like him, but they obviously did.

Ooooo by the way, cool news about Pete doing a gig in Watford cool

bye

Pete Kind of got a mention on Paul ogrady.

Alan carr and Justin whatshisname. have just been on and were talking about cashcoat and how they dont do it any more.

" We just let ex big brother house mates do it instead"

I agree Dummy, it's always struck me as completely ludacris how some people seem to have hatred towards Pete because of his popularity with the public, as if he was in control of that or something. Pete's winning was down to more people liking him and voting for him, he didnt pick up the phone himself did he?

So great to see this thread's still going strong. I was/am a huge Pete fan and I know I've left it late, but just picked up his biography today and can't put it down! I'm out of touch and had no idea it'd been out so long. I'm gripped and haven't even got to the Pete bit yet! I wasn't expecting it to be so engaging. Moving and funny too - fascinating hearing about his mum's experiences in the music industry and struggles when he was growing up as well.

Hi lindy. Glad your enjoying the book - what are you reading the hard back or paper back version. Im reading the paper back version at the moment having read the hard back when it came out. The book is really interesting isnt it, It really makes you see where pete personality comes from.

This threads going to be around for a while yet. With so much happening to Pete at the moment with the gigs and his single out soon weve got a lot to discuss

Hi Lindy the book is truly a great read and fascinating. He's had a very interesting life to say the least, and it's true it does have wonderful sense of humour about it, it is also very sad at some points but always totally enthralling. I read it all in one go, I just couldnt put it down. Ive lent my copy out to loads of people who didnt even watch BB and knew little of pete and they all really enjoyed it, so that just shows you.
