Haven't been ere for so long! So good to see the same names here... I've not been that involved on the pc or internet for so so long - other than the odd post at work or on myspace via work pc (but we had big time message fom our boss not to use the pc's for stuff other than work so..) on the net at home now! YAY! how you all doing.. Susann, Rosemary, Zuzu, Calmwaters... all of you.. can't believe this is still on pag one - evn though it needs to be! OR that it's part 3!!! Big up to you all for keeping the faith much love to all of you from the dinosaur who started all this lol!!! xxx

Just goes to show you that a few of us still think of Pete and he was the best winner ever on BB and yet mostly ignored by Endemol and Ch.4.

Anyone else notice that they made such a deal about nothing when Pete was in the house and about his swearing......this year the language was terrible and yet Pete was stopped from doing so much. I would love to know how he is doing, anyone know ?

Lovely to see you and know you're both well.

Think this place has been sidelined a little as fans move on from DS to the other places that Pete favours with his own unique take on life.
A combined total of over 23,000 friends, followers, fans and subscribers seek him out on Facebook, Twitter, Myspace and YouTube (where he regularly uploads silly vids of what he's up to) - if you don't already, you should definitely check those out to see how little he's changed...
Still BONKERS after all these years.... haha!

This year has been mostly highs for Pete. However a major low came just before the New Year with the death of Wobbly Bob (from cancer) which absolutely devastated him. Bob was always his best friend - they were like a couple of kids when they got together. Know he misses him tremendously.
Also his beloved Gran died this month and they attended the funeral, in Somerset 2 weeks ago today.
"They" of course, are Pete and Gemma (Cherry). They're still absolutely solid as a couple and enjoying their diverse life and friends in Brighton.
He's still song-writing and heavily involved in music. He uploads demos of his latest stuff to his myspace page.
They always have tons of stuff going on - both are in constant demand for one or another of their creative exploits. Pete appeared at Glasto again this year (playing his accordian onstage!!) as a guest of The Fire Tusk Pain Proof Circus. Gemma designed costume and makeup for them. They had a great time!
I still talk to Pete all the time.
He was on the phone to me less than a week ago - at 3 in the morning out of his skin with excitement happily shouting and swearing at me at the top of his voice (bet the neighbours were pleased! ) because he'd just found out he had tickets to the World Premiere in London of Disney's "A Christmas Carol". Jim Carrey's in it, and gonna be there too of course, (he's also turning on the Christmas lights!). You know how he feels about Jim - his absolute idol!! He's under no illusion of actually meeting him.... just ecstatic at the prospect of simply sharing the same space as Jim,however briefly, bless. But who knows? He met Billy Idol and his whole family last year after a series of random events... so it would be just perfect if he was as lucky again!

Haven't been on DS for a while but had to pop in here when I saw Pete's name. It was brilliant to read your comments and find out what Pete's been up to. Brought back some very happy memories indeed of the greatest BB housemate ever! So thanks loads for that. Love and best wishes to all x

I haven't been on the BB forum for a while, (I don't seem to get as much Net time as I used to anymore) so it was a nice suprise to see our old thread on the first page when I popped in for an update today

Great to see some familiar names. Thanks for the update Zuzu, nice to know things are still on the up and up for Pete and the lovely Gemma, I'm sad to hear about Bob though, I can imagine that was a bit of a blow.

I saw the video of him meeting Billy Idol and was so chuffed for him, fingers crossed he gets to exchange a few words with Jim too.

Pete and Gemma (Cherry) are getting married quite soon.
No, it's not one of those silly fun things they did at Glasto in 2007... it's the real thing and legal - at last, huh?

It's even more exciting than you might think - but can't divulge stuffs about that yet (embargoed!)
But - don't make the mistake that her Dad made... i.e. that he'd have to "start buying nappies" - hahaha - it's not that.
Will let you know more, including the date - when I'm allowed and if you're interested.


They only announced it this week - but for the past month i've been stuffing a fist in my mouth to stop me telling peeps, as was sworn to secrecy.
Know you'll all be as pleased as I am about it, (am invited!!!).

I knew there was a reason why I kept this link in my bookmarks!
Are you on facebook? - cos all of Pete's stuff goes on there...
He has 3 personal profiles (simply because 5000 'friends' is the limit for one profile... and he's exceeded that more than twice.) He also has 2 or 3 'work-related' ones.

I think I can honestly say that I'm probably the one in most regular close contact with Pete (for instance spoken to him on the phone twice today already... I'm handling the sale of some of his stuff - sold out an amazing limited edition of one of his drawings just a month ago - and we've moved on to another venture.) Lisajb also is a good friend of Pete and Cherry's - she lives in Brighton so is able to see them too.
He's recently bought a new flat in a beautiful Regency square in Brighton with a great sea-view and returned from a month in Australia at the beginning of this month...

He has a gig in London on Saturday...
and reports of the break-up of his relationship with his wife and love of his life have been greatly exaggerated

Pete's currently sellin some AMAZING illustrations in 'limited edition' form. His first one 'Wrong Rabbit Hole' was a sellout... and we're currently on a second one "Chaos in Muffyland" - PM me if you want to see em babe! (I'm handling all the sales for him).

He did a scary skydive for a children's charity Rockinghorse last month.

And his most recent 'citin news is that he's been booked to do a month's residency in Edinburgh at a swish club (The Speakeasy), for Augest for the fringe festival!! Stand-up was always a bit of a dream for him and he's both excited and shittin himself!!

Still well into his music - AND a bonkers illustration project! There's probably more stuff - but I've forgotten... every day's a new challenge for him - he's a dynamo!
