I quite like it, Grace Kelly is immense and all the tunes are really catchy and well written.

It sold 4.5 million world wide.

I went ice skating the other day and they had Mika's album on and was pleasantly surprised. Really catchy like you said, I'm surprised it got such mixed reviews.

Yeah, so if its like that then it looks like they're trying to distance themselves from multi-voting.

As I've said, they're a charity so the profit objective is not there.

They've maybe (obviously) realised that allowing multi-voting means the teenie girl idols win those awards so they may be the first televised music award / competition I've heard of that is going to discount mutli-voting.

Gaaaawwwwdddd, I hope its true.

She is bound to attend.

I hope she can also perform and that performance is the debut of her new single, which will be Take a Bow (with an amazing mascarade ball scene).

I agree, I love Indie most rock bands but for some reason, I can't stand AM's.

I wouldn't worry about the net vote Sohail - that's only for the knockout rounds before the final (i.e. on the night itself). She'll definitely make it through the knockout rounds.

I'm pretty sure the vote during the final will be solely phone / text, so at least you won't need to continually switch off your router.

More likely, just convince everyone to let you send a text from their phone!

Yup, I'm a huge fan of Indie but their latest album was just not good .. I only enjoyed Brianstorm and Fluroscent Adolescent on there

Yeah .. on the night it's definitely phone/text voting ..

And I'm sure that Leona will be in the Top 5 of the net voting .. with nominations like Mutya Buena - Real Girl in there. I like teh song but doubt it'll have people voting for it ..

Because Mika and Leona are two of his "favourites".

I think if shes going to be there to collect the award then she will perform also. Its good marketing for her new single or album by then and SBMG probably wont want to miss the opportunity.

Yup, given Leona won 1 in every 2 votes in the ROTY poll, there's no chance she'll be out of the top 2 (and I'd suspect with there being no multi-voting in the internet vote, anything but miles clear in 1st).

The key will (obviously) be the phone / text vote on the night of the show.

Yeah but there was a lot of multi-voting in the ROTY poll remember.
