Regardless of your preference, you have to admit that WIT is more radio-friendly and in my opinion, Yesterday is a bit too similar to BL and BIT really.

Her style is much more appreciated in the US so im not surprised big voiced females have left for the US, but i doubt leona will do it to her UK fans she is too aware of her fans over here.

WIT takes is definitely more radio friendly, and yesterday is very similar to better in time

It's funny because Amazing seems to only pop up whenever Leona is on GMTV and hasn't sung live. No where to be seen when we're posting all these links to the dozen or so LIVE performances she has made all around the world lol. GMTV is the ONLY show she hasn't sung live on so it doesn't bother me.

I agree that WIT and TAB will be the next singles, they are the most radio friendly and they show a different side to her. Plus TAB is a big hit if ever i heard one. WIT could do ok like better in time. Doubt they will release yesterday as its to much like better in time and its another midtempo ballad. It is a good song and really relative if they wanted to release it in the states but it would be a later release. Im hoping 'forgive me' and 'misses glass' have great single potential then single releases over there would go something like this-
bleeding love, forgive me (perez seems to think this is 2nd), take a bow, misses glass, what ever it takes or yesterday.
I think you are all being abit pesimistic after todays sales update. I would have though tthat Leonas sales will be huge on saturday. It will be the frist real shopping day for the kids and people at work who wuld have heard the Leona performance on DOI on sunday. Added to that would I be right in thinking that Sport Relief is on Friday TV. Also there will be hundreds of thousands of people taking part in various sport relief miles on Saturday so that will put many peoples minds on the charity and therefore the single. I wonder how many events will be playing Leona at the start of their City centre mile runs?

Monday sales are generally higher than sales from Tuesday-Thursday though.
But I take your point about Saturday sales, in fact I've alluded to the fact I think sales on Saturday will be abnormally high in other posts.

Yes, I was just goign to post this myself.
Her management aren't idiots. If BIT doesn't hit the top of the charts they will know what makes her successful and what doesn't - and that woudl lend itself to TAB being potentially the last properly commercially brilliant single left. unless one of the U.S. tracks is similar to BL at which point a world-wide release of it either post TAB or possibly even before becomes a reality.

I'm rapidly coming to the conclusion that, from Spirit, only TAB should be released post BIT/FITS, unless they release one of the bonus U.S. tracks (so long as its a BL type global smash)

I don't think WIT is a good choice as a single. It isn't different or edgy enough.
Further, I much prefer Yesterday, IWB, Homeless from the album. But I also don't think these stand out enough either.
TAB and that's it, unless they want to try and push the album up for one last hurrah
initially i thought they would have done for example , WIT and Homeless as a double a side as the final release from Spirit, but now that they have already done a double a-side it wont be happening 
Whatever It Takes is the closest thing to an uptempo on the album, apart from maybe BYNH, so that's why I think it would work as the last single. There isn't any pressure for a last single to perform that well so it would be no big thing if she didn't chart super-high... anything in the top 10 would be fair enough. And it's a nice, feel-good song that would end the album on a nice note. I'm not sure if they could get away with just releasing Take A Bow and calling it quits. They'll probably need another song to occupy the UK while Spirit runs its course in the US.

Maybe Leona is more of an album seller then. I think that's good in a way, as it shows that many if not all the songs on the album are good enough for people to just by the whole album instead. I reckon BIT/FITS will end up in the top 5. Does anyone know how many sales she is behind Duffy?

Amazing - the general gist of your views are something I've put forward before in this thread. Leona doesn't have a large core fanbase - that's built up over months and years with live performances in front of fans etc
What she currently has is an incredibly successful single and album on the back of it. Her task now is to "lock in" those fans. Now that's hard to do with so much promotional commitment worldwide but it's something she'll have to work hard at as she juggles her commitments.
I predicted #4 for the single this week for a variety of factors - one of which was the lack of a fanbase to rush out and buy *anything* she released, particularly when the two songs on the charity single have already been bought by 1.7m people in this country on the album.

I still think they will release to more to keep the UK happy and not forget about her whilst shes in the US. I agree that WIT isnt really edgy nor does it stand out like bleeding love, i do think its quite different to whats in the charts though and could do ok, its not one of my faves i think its a tad bland tbh
. If it wasn't for avril i would say release 'i will be'. But if its possible for them to release one of the US tracks- worldwide as well as take a bow that would be the best idea, can they do this if its not on the album? how would that work?

Actually i thought your post was quite constructive so i didnt have an issue with you posting it here. But i extremely disagree with the point you made about people only loving bleeding love and not leona- when its her voice that makes the song what it is and also how do you explain the album doing so well worldwide not just bleeding love, and you can see thats not the case by the large international member list on her official site which gets about 20 new members a day. If they only liked the song they wouldn't bother signing up.
i think the main problem is the price of the physical.
£3.99 is too expensive even for a charity single... people will probably download the two songs separate songs for £1.58 instead. the cost of 3 downloads is 2.37 the price difference is too much. why are they doing this.........
