I think I Will Be is a lot more pop-rock, more guitars and heavier drums etc.

Damn, what are the chances. I write down the % bars on U.S. iTunes on paper Sunday and Monday night and then take it with me to work today. And leave it there

Anyway, these might be slightly off, but here's Sunday's and Monday's from what I remember, and here's Tuesday's accurate:

Sunday
Mariah: 27.0cm
Leona: 17.4cm
% lead for Mariah: 55%

Monday
Mariah: 27.0cm
Leona: 20.0cm
% lead for Mariah: 33%

Tuesday
Mariah: 27.0cm
Leona: 23.0cm
% lead for Mariah: 17%

GAP IS CLOSING

In fact, if it continues at this rate, she might overtake on Thursday

Btw, I also took a note of Madonna's on both Sunday and Monday, and Leona was closing on Madonna who was closing on Mariah. Its' gonna be extremely tight in 2 days

Wow at the closing gap. Leona is giving Mariah a little competition - who woulda thunk?

Mariah's sales were obviously front loaded, hugely. She'll probably shift 300k at least in tomorrow's sales update.

This coming week's sales will be interesting as the tracking week runs from Monday-Sunday and Leona could overtake on Thursday/Friday, right in the middle of the week

theres an article in the london paper about Mariah...which basically says there are some people she might be less keen to see one of them beingleona lewis who she was dismissive of in a radio interview yesterday....lol

I just cannot get over that note at 3:20 on Forgive Me - that is absolutely mindblowing

Its just so so stunning its blowing me away every time I hear it. The sheer power of the vocal and the control it must take to hit that part of the scale at that power at that speed and with so many notes in there - wow

and Leonas airplay is increasing, she could very well pip Madonna and go back to #1.

Ha Ha, aint it great seeing Leona in battle with 2 other big Divas.

Mariah's attitude stinks lately. Apparently she turned up to a press conference 3 hours late yesterday.

Yup, I completely agree its fantastic to see 3 big divas battling it out with each other

The charts are going to be extremely interesting over the coming weeks - obviously this week's chart is a foregone conclusion, and next week's will probably be a double for Mariah, but after that, Leona could pip her. AFAIK, Madonna's airplay isn't increasing very fast and she's still down the lower reaches of the Hot 100 Airplay

All we needed was Celine & Whitney up there and then the 5 'first name' divas would all be battling it out - Celine, Leona, Mariah, Madonna and Whitney.

The album version of BIT is soooooo not as good as the single version. I'm listening to it now; the beat is so quiet, the new one really brought the song to life, as did all the new sounds. Gr.

Yup, I agree. The album version of BIT is good (I still think the piano chords are a magic touch), but I thought the single remix really gave it some oooomph

I'm really not liking what they've done to Whatever It Takes, doesn't sound right without the choir. That makes it more epic sounding and really suits the song.

LOL don't worry Shell, at least we'll always have the good version. Apparently they think Americans don't like gospel choirs.

For what its worth, from someone who doesn't particularly love Whatever It Takes, I think its madness that they've removed the choir from the end of that song.

That provided a commanding, uplifting finish to the song, a part that I quite liked, and complimented both the song and Leona's vocals extremely well.

What were they thinking
