I understand where your coming from but singing in the style of paradise wouldn't necessarily mean that she couldn't emote. I also think that she would be able to sing the songs with greater ease. Obviously clive davies is happy with them so thats one thing, but if i was new to her i wouldn't listen to either of those songs and think my god whos voice is this, as i would do with BL, TAB and yesterday to name a few.

(Obviously not all songs can showcase her vocals, although i accept that both the new ones do at the end.)

Oh yeah that's great, unfortunately that's the best quality there is of the "Homeless" performance. This is a great sound quality of "Bleeding Love" but not great video quality:

LOL at this:

Quote:
“LEONA LEWIS IS A BITCH DIVA

One of our SceneQueen insiders just let us in on some Leona Lewis Gossip! The British pop-tart was supposed to be booked nine nights at the Dream hotel in Manhattan but cut her stay short because garbage trucks across the street made too much noise. Leona canceled the rest of her nights and found a more peaceful hotel. Staffers say that she was a Diva in the making!!!!

http://nycscenequeen.com/2008/04/01/...-a-bitch-diva/”

The funny thing is I actually think they're being serious.

Bleeding Love has moved up one space to #9 in Spain, it's highest peak so far.

Just watched that again. thanks for reminding me of it. Is it just me, or did she seem to be really relaxed and enjoying the crowd? So many of her performances are showcases, aren't they? Really high profile promo for huge TV audiences. No wonder if she gets stressed at times, knowing that so much rides on each appearance. She could do with do with some smaller gigs like this one where she could enjoy performing for her fans. Ah, well, we can dream.

Have you seen the Dream Hotel its lovely I wouldnt mind staying there.

Maybe she did book out because of the trucks as they make a right racket and she got to much to cope with without having no sleep because of them.

Definitely! I thought when I first saw that how relaxed she looked and totally into the crowd. You can tell she's itching to do more live shows like this.

Hope there is some truth in the sun story but then I do fear the song becoming one of those people hate simply due to overkill!

Morning all! Hope everyone well

Just a passing visit

Can someone tell me what 'Misses Glass' is about - seems an odd title for a song?

Mariah brings London to a hault-and arrives two hours late

Quote:
“X Factor winner Leona Lewis has been dubbed the new Mariah but the star was quick to shoot down any similarities.

"They've been comparing people to me for the longer than I can remember, I'm just like, 'Whatever'," she shrugged.

"If they're the new me can they come and do my interviews for me or get in the studio and write one of my songs? Seriously though, I love everybody, it's not a competition for me."”
