Yeah, that would be funny!

its going to be an interesting week - its goona be tight but as flagpole says it looks like Lil Wayne is getting downloads from somewhere else so Leona will need a bigger lead than she would otherwise.

Idol could do it though

I liked Crank That. The Travis Barker remix anyways.

But Soulja Boy - Yahhh is awful.

And yup .. winning that competition would be a dream come true.

Ohh right..emm..cant say I've heard it..or want too!
I never want to inflict Yahhh on my ears. Ever. Ever.

I might take a look and enter...I have no luck like that but still doesn't kill to try!

On the plus side Leona has now shifted over 1.3 million copies of BL in the states

Looks like its going to be Leona vs. Lil Wayne battling at the top of the Hot 100 for the next month possibly!

Isn't there a nice sequence about her digital sales chart run?

2-1-3 - 2-1-3

Any chance it'll go 2-1-3 over the next 3 weeks as well?

Also, whenever she's been #1 on sales she's claimed the Hot 100 top spot - lets hope she can repeat the feat!

Thanks for those flagpole

So her album leaked the week before it was released?

204,841 + 94,842 ≠ 300,232

And how come it shows Mariah having sold 1,214 copies last week when it was only released this week?

Think it was mentioned last week - something like 500 or so copies sold early, happens with all major albums.

Is that just retailers putting it out early(ier) than they should be? (Nothing malicious)?

Well she's #3 in the albums and #13 in singles - we'll hopefully get some sales news on the album today which will confirm whether she's holding steady with sales this week or whether Sunday has had a disproportionate effect on this week's sales.

All will become clear very soon!

Dunno if this was ever posted (I didn't see it but it might have been):

From Haven (thanks to Fresh):
Quote:
“France: The lowest singles sales week in history!
« Thread Started on Apr 1, 2008, 7:32pm »

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. 5,674 - Dangerous, M. Pokora Featuring Timbaland & Sebastian
2. 4,561 - No Stress, Laurent Wolf
3. 3,835 - Bleeding Love, Leona Lewis
4. 3,657 - What Hurts The Most, Cascada
5. 3,636 - Il Avait Les Mots, Sheryfa Luna
13. 1,718 - Belle Demoiselle, Christophe Mae

The lowest singles sales week in history!

French chart incl. only physical singles, but physical market still dominate in France (92% - taken from the official report for I-IX '07).”

Jesus christ - you have to sell next-to-nothing to hit #1 in France And they're the 5th biggest market in the World according to Wikipedia

Nice, Leona sells 4K ahead of HDD projections and Mariah even less lol. It will be interesting next week, if she can keep shifting around 100K a week that would be awesome.
