http://acharts.us/france_singles_top_100

And BIT isn't on that. Although this link is a week behind, it still doesn't reconcile to the first link if you look at the 'last week' positions in the first link.

Which chart is official?”

Acharts always take a while to update. Pretty sure the link I posted is official, that's the link that was used when we first found out BL was #1 in France.

Hope so. Would be nice to see her doing well in France with the follow-up single

The link used when BL was first #1 in France was this:

Damn there's just so many charts out there

They are in a world on their own. coz they are ridiculously slow to catch on to things, this is just not towards Leona but most artists, their charts always have older songs on, in regard to other countries.

Looking good for BIT in Germany. As well as itunes, Germans have started looking at BIT on You Tube in larger numbers. And according to at least 3 of them "das ist besser als bleeding love". And all these comments have got positive responses. The one person who stood up for BL got negatives.

I don't know if I agree, but I'm delighted they think so, given the fact that BL was such a hit there in the first place.

When I first heard BIT I knew it was single worthy, the remix makes it even better. It's the best song on the album after BL. I think it will do great in the US as well (but only after FM is done smashing )

I think it's the name "Lewis"that they don't like.

Yeah I've always thought it could be a single, I remember writing that in my review of the album all those months ago on this forum.

German charts will be interesting, depending on what sales period is covered by each week's chart (i.e. if its Monday - Sunday its looking good so far), if it's Wednesday-Tuesday her spike is crossing between sales weeks

Austria there is also a good chance of a #1 or at least a #2.

Switzerland may have to settle for a top 3 place as that song @ #2 is the Euro 2008 song and will probably take off as we get closer to Saturday.

“Sometimes I even cry when a song on the radio moves me. Lately it’s been “Bleeding Love,” by Leona Lewis. It’s just so emotional.

I mean, her heart melted to the ground, found something new, and everyone around her thinks that she’s going crazy.

But baby, baby … she keeps bleeding, keeps, keeps bleeding love.

Wow. That’s intense.”
