I don't even know how old Rhydian is ?

Anyway, I digress, Ray was always going to be a one album wonder - a pressie for mothers day. Purely because he is all style and no substance. Leon has real substance.”

I agree, get him in a recording studio and that voice can do so much more than jazz or swing. I am totally obsessed with Tom Baxters latest track:-

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=UwzBf4...eature=related

I think Leon could sing this type of genre...it's not that far removed from Paolo Nutini. The problem is Paolo and Tom are singer song writers - they have a head start a clear advantage.

If leon gets an album deal with Simon - Syco or SBMG, I'm sure it will be a covers album.

I think Leon needs a good manager..I have a feeling that Louis may be putting himself in that position. A good manager can get you good quality gigs/appearances and can line up song writers. For all Louis faults on the show, he is well connected.

Anyway this is all speculation and I must cite the thread mantra One Week at a Time!

Well maybe I shouldn't say this as I don't want to alarm anyone but none of my faves ever win

Kurt Nilsen was the only winner I backed.

Usually, my acts are third, at best. Except for OTV

I wanted Steve to win and Shayne, but my other Pop Idol and X Factor favourites ended up second, apart from Andy who went too early.

I always do a double take when I hear that, cause he seems more mature than that, if you know what I mean? He could easily pass for five years older...

In their defence, separately they were better, but they didn't gel as a group and had a cr*p song compared to Girls Aloud's....

I always preferred the girls - I am a big GA fan . Agreed the boys had a naff, samey samey song whereas the girls had something a bit different - I still love SOTU now .

IMO, Keith, Daniel and Anton were the best singers. I just loved that Keith....a nice rocky tone.
