Yes, that's how I saw it. Something went wrong during that first song, and I'm not sure what - it was almost as if he couldn't hear the backing properly, or something - but that was the first below-par performance I have ever heard him give. By the look on his face, he knew it too. It was quite different from, say, Home, where he looked pleased with his performance (and rightly so) and then looked crestfallen when Simon and Louis laid into him for no good reason. Even so, despite his difficulties with TVTOY, whatever they were, there was still a lot of good stuff in that performance. I hope he can write it off to experience and take confidence from the fact that the viewers have voted him into the final and Michael Buble has championed him. Go, Leon!
