Ooh, what did she say, Muttley? She never mentions Leon in her regular slot on Lorraine Kelly's show. It's always Lorraine who mentions him, but Brenda and others (eg Chico) tend to brush over it and change the subject. And I liked her too - but not as much as Leon.

Still really think Leon is being underestimated here. I really hope Leon gets great songs next week and performs to the standard he can and just tries to forget the nerves.

I think Rhyd did perform really well on the second track today, less keen on the 1st one, tbh, but being 'perfect' is actually kind of boring on one level, there is so much more to enjoy from someone who has that vulnerability to them....

If it is a Xmas song then I think a lot of us are hoping for the Andy Williams song first suggested by Zip.

I have to say I disagree with peeps believing that Danni is not forLeon, everyweek she sings his praises and says he is going to be a star and that when he plays to a crowd she will be at every performance, I truly think she loves Leon more than Rydian

She sort of implied that she lost out on the final in series 2 becuse she wasn't at her best and so Leon should have too...not bitter at all...

Aww I used to think highly of her.

I do think some people have been a wee bit harsh, though I understand some of what they are saying. On one level, I think she adores Leon, but she does seem to know which side of her bread is buttered, as it were.

I honestly don't think she set out to set him up, and I think it wasn't a bad song choice at all. I do think people need to go back and review their inital repsonce to the songs before they are to criticial of her here.

Clare Sweeney kept saying be more confident..I got the imopression she'd lie a few words in his shell-like.

I was thinking that it would be nice if we could get georgie to pass on a few good luck messages from us lot..she'll see Leon on Monday maybe tomorrow eve. We've been hear each week, living the rollercoaster.

I'd just want to tell him to go out next Saturday as if it was Wembley all over gain and just ignore that it's the Final etc..he's won already by being there and all the celeb endorsemenst he's had.

Personally, I disagree. She can give him... argh can't think of the word, but just saying things that are expected of her as a mentor. If you look at her actions, i.e. song choices (she could full-on have stepped in the first week and changed things to suit him, seeing how uncomfortable he was, she could have let him change his song this week after he complained about it to everyone), arrangements, etcetc compared with those for Rhydian, it's pretty clear who Dannii loves best.

Pretty much. She started out saying she didn't want to single someone out as being the one who should go, but then said Leon because she thought there were some problems with the first song, then she concluded by doing the analogy I outlined above.

I'm more interested in what Sandi Thom and Michael Buble had to say though...
