How sour of her. But yes the others opinions are much more interesting and worthy of remembering!

I liked the song he picked for himself, actually, but the routine was too much like the one in RLMF...something a bit more subtle would have been better, but overall I liked it, though I prefered the first song...

What is the Andy Williams song that has been suggested?

And that's exactly where Leon triumphs over Rhydian. Rhydian may sing all the right notes in the right order (unlike Eric Morecambe) - at least, most of the time - but there's more to singing than that. To me, Rhydian is like a singing machine, albeit a fairly efficient one, while Leon is a warm, and fallible, human being with great personal charm as well as a fabulous voice.

I honestly don't think she set out to set him up, and I think it wasn't a bad song choice at all. I do think people need to go back and review their inital repsonce to the songs before they are to criticial of her here.”

I loved the songchoice from Dannii but Leon was clearly uncomfortable with it and if he did ask Cowell if it could be changed then it should have been. Leon would have stole the show with a song like A Song For You so why didnt Dannii pick him something he knew and was comfortable with. She knows how bad he sometimes suffers with his nerves so in my opinion she did him no favours. Dannii also annoyed me with some of her comments tonight and the repeated standing ovations for Rhydian from her are becoming tiresome.

I hated the dancers in the 2nd song...very distracting for Leon...last week was much better.

Can we just ask Brian to put all his energies into SD - he clealry loves then.

Have to say the black leather trousers and black shirt were a good look, in contrast to the awful velvet jacket.

100% lulu g the machine can do it perfect but perfection is boring and bland. I want to like the singer, feel something and want to hear more. With Leon I get all those feelings. Machine do not interest me in the slightest. They all break down in the end though

Another note of interest, in the winner w/o Rhydian stakes, the odds are as follows

Leon 1.48 (8/11)
SD 2.52 (6/4)

So you could say he is hot favorite to be runner up..

Please, can we? I hate the man. He's so vile. He's nauseating. Everything Sharon said about Rhydian in bootcamp I feel for Friedman. When he smiles I want to smack him.

I don't think I've ever hated anyone so much, and I don't even know why he makes me feel like this...

I'd just want to tell him to go out next Saturday as if it was Wembley all over gain and just ignore that it's the Final etc..he's won already by being there and all the celeb endorsemenst he's had.”

He should realise that the judges no longer matter now. He has made the Final. He has performed in front of 12,000 people and performed brilliantly. He needs to go out there next week and sing his wee heart out.

I wasn't keen on the song Danii chose for Leon. It was quite obscure. Rhydian got the classics that everyone knows the words to. Rhydian never has to do all these dance routines that Leon has to learn. I'm sure it's because Same Difference and Leon are the youngest and they have to give Brian Friedman some work to do.

You normally get a warning first unless it is something drastic, but it is important to restrain yourself and stay within the t&c on the board...

Hope to see you with us again...

lol and that is the biggest best competiton there will be next week! Like Niki said in that video (the one she told the truth about who Dannii spend the most time with) its a race to 2nd place now for the finalists!

Yeah well if you look at her eyes when she's watching Leon sing there is much more warmth than when she is watching Rydian. If she is beefing up Rydyian it's because she has been told to.

I'd take that right now tbh...can you imagine this place next week if Rhydian doesn't win..there will be blood!

As Micheal says, the winner isn't always the winner.

I agree - I think Dannii plays fair and the song she chose for him is probably a favourite of hers but it is a hellish song for a young lad to sing (isn't it a wartime song?) I thought it was completely wrong for him, even worse than Dancing in the Moonlight. But she did at least admit her mistake straight away. I don't know why they don't just let them choose their own songs.

Hated the routine in the second song too. This is why I am hoping Leon doesnt do anything too uptempo next week. Leave that to Same Difference. Brian needs to be kept away from him.

Definitly Maeve-not winning can be a blessing in disgue. It works amazingly for some like Leona but others it means zilch.

Next week would just be amazing if it does not win. It would be one of the highlights of my year!!

I actuallyy agree with you there. I think she does like Leon more, but she admires Rhyd a lot and as I said, she knows which side her bread is buttered. But I think she likes Leon more.

A good mentor would have realised the song was a mistake when Leon was having difficulty connecting with the song in rehearsals.
