Well the only consolation is that she may feel a tad guilty..his wee face during XF etc and make ammends next week.

Cowell will be a happy bunny as SD are in the Final...he'll want it to be a good show for telly, so hopefully they all get to shine as in Final 6 week when they all basically chose their song.

If I'm being honest, at that point I was 90% sure he was through, because people had been putting £400 and £500 pounds bets on Nikki towards the end of the voting time, and she was heavily odds on to go....but there is always that 10% of uncertianty.

Overall Leon has had most of the compliments from REAL singers and stars than the rest of them put together and that says something.

I only have two complaints about his performance.

I'm glad Simon was ill for the last part of the X Factor and we didn't get to hear his opinion of Leon tonight! As I said a few weeks ago, Simon is never going to give Leon 100% praise because he so obviously wants Rhydian to win. If Leon has to do a previous song performance next week, I hope it's 'You Don't Know Me'

He got some really positive comments from many guests tonight and that settled my nerves.

Hey, Arty......I went to see and was inpsired by this guy, today, after seeing the Golden Compass.

Simon cant see past Rhydian though he should be very careful he doesnt alienate Leon too much. Leon looked totally crestfallen with the Cowell comments tonight.

I am going to contriversally state that having heard the audio of The Very Thought Of You back, that is now my second favorite vocal performance of his....by a distance.

I thought the first few notes were definitely dodgy though Muttley. Leon didnt seem happy and the nerves were there.

I agree. The vocal was excellent, just he looked a bit nervous throughout.

Also, how dare Simon accuse Leon of being corny when he has Same Difference (I love Same Difference and corny, for the record) as his remaining act. How VERY dare he. ****.
