I don't actually think so - maybe the first bar or two. But the nerves etc don't change the fact that vocally it was fantastic...it sounds like your listneing to an album track almost....can't speak to highly of it. Really can't.

I know you love Leon and so do I, but he completely lost the melody in the second verse. I just downloaded the audio too and it sounds as though he started the second verse in the wrong key. He just about manages to recover by the end.

I like the audio of How Sweet though and can understand why the musicians like him. Simon Cowell always underestimates the audience's intellegence. He thinks we all want to hear songs we can singalong to. Some of us actually like music

But anyway, I think when you take away the slightly awkward performance, the vocal quality shines through...

That's exactly how I feel. Leon is a lovely lad with a good heart and he cares deeply for others (look how upset he was by Andy and Niki going out). His voice is so warm and special, just like he is.

Rhydian, on the other hand, just seems so unemotional. His upbringing probably hasn't helped. Admittedly, he has a good voice, but his voice doesn't touch my heart like young Leon's does.

Absolutely the way Simon goes on about Rydyain being world class. He is for the minority whereas Leon would have a much broader fanbase and Simon I believe is shooting himself in the foot.

That song, is outstanding....and, Mutts.....YOU know, I wouldn't say that if I honesty didn't believe it.

I cannot get over how amazing that song is when you hear just audio. I'm blown away. I really am. The richness....I could go on and on and on.....

Vocally it is a lot better than I at first thought . I think a lot of the problem tonight was the way Leon looked while he was singing it. He seemed nervous and that probably made the audience more nervous.

I agree, his emotions are so clear that you tend to believe what he's thinking - if he's thinking he's not doing well, you sort of tend to believe it, he's a very misleading boy...

I know, i thought it would sound better on audio, but even i am gobsmacked...Nat King Cole will be smiling down on Leon this evening, I din't doubt it for a minite.

Personally i think he didnt enjoy tonight as much as previous weeks, but im glad everyone can see his potential to win and put him through!
