True, but maybe it'll be on the album...

Well we'll not hear it on XF tour either. Maybe he'll have proper Myspace and get to record that track.

Leon if you ever read or hear about stuff on here...would you bloomin well record Last Request.....you will have made some supposed 'wrinklies' (anyone over 30) very happy.

“Barbie Girl, DJ Jones, C’est La Vie… the classics. Nah, I’d like to have original songs on the album, I’d like to be a singer singer. I’ve had a go at writing, and I’ve got a lot of half-ideas. I’d like to be like Paolo Nutini.”

Yet another hidden talent our Leon has.

Loved his interview. Thanks for posting it up, Queen Maeve.

That's great that he's started writing tracks for his debut album. He's thinking positive and that's what we like to hear.

Yeah, love the fact that he's thinking of song writing...way to go in the long run.

Wonder if phone boxes could be a source of inspiration!

Maybe Leon could do a cover of 'Hanging on the Telephone' by Blondie.

I don't think he's ever going to live the phone box story down. He likes small spaces doesn't he? On his latest video blog, he says that he sleeps in the cupboard sometimes!

I see the Daily Mail have done a long article on SD..that's Rhydian and SD being pimped for the 'middle england vote'.

Just as well Leon has the Daily Record, Scottish Sun and Herald.

In order I think Leon should now have last place due to the fact Rhyd went first so few times.

Therefore for me it should be Rhyd, SD and then Leon, and we all know that is as likely to happen as them men from mars dropping in for my hot toddies. I said toddies note not teddies!

Cowell has first refusal on all acts even those that did not make the final 12, and unless the contract has altered he has that til March 2008.

Now what you have to consider, the grip is put on, well refuse and no one will even remember your name mate.. clever, nasty tatics which is why I said Leon needs an advisor, but they dont come cheap, and we know the lads background, and as a single mum myself I can say it is not something you can suddenly find money to fund.

I dont know many of your ages on here, or in this thread, all I can say is as a mum I would run a mile with my son in the opposite direction to Scowell.

Buble is with Reprise records by the way, not the biggest, Leon would be better with them though.

If Leon loses he would be better to wait to see what deals arrive in his new year post, as I think he would be offered a better deal. He is much better than buble, in his tone, Michael cannot even emulate Frank Sinatra, Leon can.

He has a talent he was given now he needs the backing of fans, a good record deal, and some training on vocals and nerves, as his nerves kill his vocals... and please he does not have to dance.. did Will Young ever dance properly on Pop Idol NO...

The other two have had I understand 7 years practice and we have a finalist with NONE. so we have what this show should be about, new, raw talent, in a genre I happen to love which helps!”

I totally agree with all your comments.

The Daily Mail have always been snooty. Leon obviously isn't posh enough for them.
