It sounds like deliberate sabotage. Giving 2 contestants artisits with a album currently top 10 and the other artist some guy that was last seen flogging prawn rings with Kerry Katona on the Iceland adverts. I'm guessing SD must have been polling far more than Cowell would have liked and we can't have the planned Rhydian v Leon showdown not occuring can we?

Guys - I am disappointed on your behalf about Jason Donovan. Rhyd gets to perform with one of his idols, who is a great singer, Leon with Kylie, who is less great at singing but still popular and SD are stuck with Jason? Maybe they are fans of him, I don't know. It seems a strange choice.

This sums up my feelings entirely. How disappointing.

What was the first single you bought?
It was Happy Together by Jason Donavan, years ago now. I played it all the time and used to know all of the words. I went to see him in Joseph when I was younger and then he just sort of became my idol for ages – I bought all of his songs!

If I'm being totally honest here, I think they were always going to struggle to get a big star to sing with SD. I'm not all that excited about it being Jason either, but perhaps someone of his "stature" will make it easier for them to pull out a show stopping performance with an amazing routine etc. Try not to be too disheartened.

Ive been told they are not even singing ADWD, and that was from Sean himself! But Ive been told to keep tight lipped about it, unless it has been changed since I saw him on Sat.

yeah i don't think its that bad, this could work out well for SD. They aren't going to be over shadowed by Jason. and no offence to rhyd but katherine will totally out sing him, you are right that they won't want to be outshone on the night and be honest i can't see them being outshone either. like last year, like them or hate them westlife left ray standing

How great would it have been if they got to perform with Kylie instead? Both are pop music artists and it would have guaranteed a great performance.
