Morning everybody!

I see the cost of seeing Eton Rd is going up! £13.50 (in advance) or £25 for VIP tickets! (Although I suppose they have to charge more as there are more artists taking part)

i guess it would have to go up with more than one disnae but i would say that now, out of the three there Eton Rd would be the most popular

Yeah, they got top billing on the poster .

It will get more expensive to see them as their career grows though. We need to make the most of it whilst they're still doing the smaller gigs.

i think they will probably remain around this much before the x factor tour, and then after the tour if a deal is announced etc. the prices will slowly begin to rise

Morning everyone!

I did a bit of searching on Dune FM and found that page with more photos on it... Unfortunately, it looks like Ant was NOT sitting on David's lap (but they were still quite close to each other nevertheless )

http://www.dunefm.co.uk/gallery.aspx?id=91

I'll continue digging to see if there's a recording of the programme somewhere...

I've just sent an email to Dune FM asking if they provided archives and recordings of past programmes so fingers crossed ....

Looks like James was just laughing his head off throughout the programme, not just on that one picture... I really wish I could hear it!!

fingers crossed they get back to you with some good news!

It's such a shame they never posted to tell us about it. They posted a link to ERO on Dave's blogspot so they knew about the site. Oh well !

hopefully they will, i think everyone here wants to hear it lol
maybe if they dont they may send you a recording
it does look like james was laughing all the way through
although in the first one we seen of him laughing it says it was about ant doing the travel news lol

I think James and Anthony are a pair of comics. I can't remember now, but either David or Danny on the radio city interview, said they were both a real laugh away from the tv cameras.

Hi guys,

I've already received a response from Dune FM, below:

"we don't actually have the ability todo that but i sahll forward ur e-mail on to dan roach who interviewed the guys and we will sort something out for you.

all the best

Andy Hilbert"

So I responded that this would make a lot of people VERY happy!!! They seem like a bunch of really nice guys out there!!

PS. I've just checked the CRC Epsom website as I am still wondering how the guys are going to manage three gigs in one night and the poster is now out there confirming they'll be there. 7 days to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woawwwww

Yes, I remember that. I think David used the words "let rip" when the cameras are off..

Moring all

Who's going to make the 9000th post on this thread?

ER need an official Website as soon as is possible, that way all news should be posted re radio appearances, radio tours - when they get promoting etc and other smaller gigs. I do hope they get a good website and that it's kept up to date with lots of clips and snippets from the lads. Mind you they'll end up paying for it like all artists do.

Didn't see the Beatles programme Froggie, but I've nearly finished Gary Barlows biog (read it on the bus and often end up dropping off..reading has that affect) and I can see interesting parallels the one member of the group that can n't dance (Ant/Gary) two obvious dancers (James/David & Jay and Howard) the quiet thoughtful one (James/Howard)...Gary says some interesting stuff with hindsight, especailly the importance of the guys looking out for each other and working as a team. When TT were near the peak of popularity their daily schedules were mad and they had no control...not sure i'd want that level of success. It's also clear that the record company has so much control especially the A&R people over the musical direction, TT had the benefit of Gary as song writer..ER dont have a songwriter (yet), so I think who ever manages and then looks after them from the record company will be key.

Re Westlife tour..I looked at the post on Westlife board and there's one on ERO...it sounds like the presenters of the UTV programme were talking about past and recent XF people what they're doing now, and thats when ERs support act with Westlife in Belfast was mentioned - the impression I got from who ever posted, so I'm still not sure if it's just re-hashed stuff. I didn't see the programme, but I think I want the news to come out of one of the lads mouths before I 100% believe it.

Anyway must get bum in gear and do some food shopping - how boring.

Talk later.

Just editing...judging by your recent posts, maybe James is not such the quiet one at times. I just think they all are great at the quick line and banter, but maybe James just gets self conscious of ther camera in your face...same with Ant, he was usually very quiet on Xtra Factor/Access All Areas.

Hi QM! I hope you have a good day and that the food shopping doesn't get you down too much!!

Re: the quiet one... another reference to the Beatles, if I may... George was thought of as the quiet one but it turns out he was the biggest prankster in the band (not Ringo)! He was my favourite and the biggest regret in my life is that I got opportunities to come up and say hello to him many times in the past in circumstances where he was relaxed and totally approachable and in joking mode and I was such in awe of him I couldn't do it... He looked at me sometimes as in saying "come on, then, I know you want to talk to me!" but I just couldn't muster the courage and I was so afraid of making a complete fool of myself . Well, at least now that he's gone and watching upon us from above I guess he knows how much influence he's and his pals had on my life. After his death I went to a vigil at Abbey Road and it was magical, with people singing his songs and reminiscing together. I put a message on the wall that day and I would really like to know where the ER boys put theirs since...

If I get the chance to talk to James and any of the others, I'll try not to freeze and give myself yet another regret for the rest of my life.... (edit: at least they are not quite as intimidating at the moment...)

Morning QM!

Re the Westlife news it didn't occur to me that the broadcast could have been rehashed news. 2 posters , Emma Byrne and Ruthy, said about the UTV news. http://www.westlife.com/ubbthreads/s...0&fpart=9&vc=1

I'm just rereading and maybe it has been rehashed news. I'm not even sure if it was on the news twice, because one of the posters said she saw it last week and the other doesn't say when she saw it. Oh well! Sorry if I've confused people.

Dont apologise Disnae ...I love the digging around for news that you do on our behalf.

I guess when people are reporting things they dont give the whole picture - I like detail/accuracy . If they said 'ER were on UTV last night confirming they would be in Belfast on the Westlife tour' then I'd have been happy, but it sounded vaguer than that...so just made me doubt.

When you've been following another singer for a few years (Will) you get used to the entertainment press/media re- hashing old stuff and some of it is not true or out of date...they just feed of other peoples inaccurate reports/postings.

Like I said, when I hear it from the horses mouth I'll be happy.

That's a really touching post Froggie.

I think stars/superstars are just people..we put them on pedastals and make them seem unapproachable. Granted some would make it very difficult for you to approach them, but I think it's down to being polite and respectful of their free time..... if that's when you see them.

I'm sure anything you have to say to ER would be well received especially if it's about their singing and career... I dont think you are going to propose marriage...or shout 'james I love you, you ar so fit'! are you Froggie?

Now I really am going....Congrats to the 9000th poster in advance.

Don't give me ideas, QM! I know Barbara Windsor got herself a toyboy of a husband!!!

I think if I can articulate something like "I think you're great and good luck for the future", I'll be pleased!
