I'm not sure if I can imagine James really saying what was printed in that interview about his ideal date, but it would be nice to imagine all the same...

re: James' ideal date. Maybe he was inspired by the trip to lapland and meant a reindeer-drawn carriage rather than a horse....

Well David definitely knows about this thread as his sister is registered here.She used to print off and pass on our messages of support.His Mum and Dad and his aunties and uncles know all about it too.I think they're all probably too busy to come on.They've got the links if they ever feel inclined.

I'd imagine that James knows about it too as Bisho has been part of this thread since the very start.


Personally I think they're wise to stay away from internet forums-it'd be way too bizarre reading all this stuff about yourself.

Hi Froggie. Noticed Mizz in the garage when I went to pay for the petrol this morning and couldn't resist taking a look! (In fact I read the whole article until the guy at the till started glaring at me.)

You're right, nothing new there. It all seemed a bit rehashed from stuff we've heard before didn't it ? And boo to the magazine for not even bothering to take their own photo , seen that one somewhere else before.

Funniest bit was where David butted in and said Danny's idea of a hot date would be fish and chips on the seafront. They love to tease him about his junk food addiction don't they !

PS . Managed to stay awake till the end of the DVD last night. You were right, good film, sad though, all those unfulfilled lives....

I'm sure they can see the funny side of things we talk about here, we're only having a laugh after all. Also, we've had plenty of more serious discussions on here at times, especially compared to other forums I can think of out there. They're going to have to get used to reading stuff about them in the media now... good or bad. It's not like we've ever said anything directly negative about the boys on here, so I can't see that we're doing any harm.

Personally, I hope the boys do know about this thread. We've been supporting them from the beginning, and we're getting more and more new people joining in with us each day. Maybe it's me, but I think the boys would be more than happy to know about that.

Snail did that for the IF thread definitely (printing part 1 off to take with her and give to the boys when she went on the show - week 6 - Scissor Sisters and bottom 2 for the first time - must have been so painful! ). And then David's mum and dad came on the IF one again to thank everyone for the support after their eviction.

Bisho is the one who has contributed to both so far I think (unless I missed some posts earlier in the DS thread as I joined about half way down the line). It would be nice for Snail and David's uncle and aunties to actually post here... Although it might have an effect on the tone of the discussion some times!!

I agree, some internet threads are full of pretty tactless , scary tweenie obsessive stuff, but I can't see that they'll find much on THIS thread that's too wierd or upsetting. I think they'll find most of it a good laugh and be astonished that people take the time to debate all this trivia about them !

Most of the really wacky fun stuff or controversial opinions people tend to post over at the camp anyway, so at least they're saved from viewing us at our worst !

Re: Danny's ideal date. The mag says that it is Danny saying that about David but I think it's more a case of the mag getting the names wrong rather than David's ideal date being fish and chips on the seafront.... this MUST be Danny's ideal date, not David's!!

Yeah I'm over there too on the IF but it's very quiet.Snail printed off our messages from here to give the lads and she loved them so much she kept a copy for herself.I'm still in touch with Snail and Ann via email.

Val thanks for the link to the Birkenhead gig pics on the Wirral fm site-I emailed them to Snail yesterday and her and Syl (David's Mum) were made up.

Btw if anyone is looking out for Snail at the gigs she emailed me yesterday to say look out for a red head lol

Must have mis-read that, but in my subconscious I must have been thinking of Danny. In fact, it MUST be Danny, as David had just said that his ideal date was a candlelit dinner for two ! I think you're right, the mag misquoted them. The scene visualised is so typically Danny, not David !

Well, he actually says that candlelit dinners are his speciality when they're asked whether they are romantic, but I'm with you all the way on that one, Sally. F&C on the seafront is deffo a Danny option!

I know how it feels counting the days to when you see them.... Just 7 to go for me! I feel like jumping in the air and screaming exactly the same way James does when they go through at bootcamp!!! Noone to hug at the other end though! (other half starting to get fed up and jealous...Well, Leona - his favourite - hasn't quite got the same charisma and lasting effect, has she???? )
